DANCING QUEEEEEN
I had an awesome day, yay! Rakel celebrated her birthday, and invited me. :3
First, I and Amund just made the bus in time, and met Ingvild there. We managed to get off at SiddIShallen, where ice skating was on the menu. Rakel came shortly after, and we proceeded to rent skates and start skating. They actually had some in my size, but they turned out to be a bit too tight around the tip, and my toes hurt. Anyways, I really can't skate at all, but Rakel helped me a bit and I at least managed to not fall, so that's good enough for me. Eventually Sophia and Åi came, though Åi had to leave after a little while. All in all, it was fun, despite my hurting toes and lack of skills (I lost my races with Amund, so I guess I was the worst skater there :D).
Afterwards, we made our way to Rakel's place to eat tacos. While eating, Gunnar came. Gifts were opened, and after a while we found ourselves in the basement with delicious cake and candy, where we decided to sing some Singstar. Rakel had the Abba version, but there were also some other songs I'd heard. I got to sing quite a lot, and it was awesomely fun. I've never really tried any form for karaoke before, but I really liked it. We spent quite a while singing, and then Sophia left us while we decided to watch some episodes of a show called "Black Books", which turned out to be pretty awesome.
All in all, I had a very nice day, and I really felt I needed something like this inbetween all the stressful work and stuff. Yay! :3
