Ever get the feeling something big's about to happen? *smirk* Just me?

[private to Slytherins]

Halloweens coming up. Perfect time to do something big. Everyone will be watching out for pranks by those stupid Griffindorks, we should take advantage and do something better. Something bigger. You know what I mean. *smirk*

As long as it isn't something stupid, stereotypically Gryffindor, or pointless, I'll look forward to contributing.

You insult me, and the rest of us, with your insinuation that we might do something either stupid, Gryffindor in nature or pointless, Travers. Glad to have you on board though.

Rosier's been assorting to simple Hexes lately. Can you blame me for being concerned about what I attach my good name to?

I'd noticed. It seems he is bored and waiting for something to happen. I say we make it happen ourselves.

Oi. Not all those hexes are simple, alright? I've messed up twice with one, and I could've died. If I didn't trust Snape to be completely dependent on us to protect him from Potter tying his boot laces together, I'd think he botched the incantation, or something.

But I'm all for something big. Mind if I'm in, comrades?

When you mess up a hex it doesn't necessarily mean it isn't simple. It just means you're incompetent.

Do we have any ideas of what we're going to do yet?

Your face is incompetent.

Well, I have loads of ideas, naturally, but I want to see what you blokes come up with before divulge a portion of my genius to anyone.

In other words, you have no ideas. I appreciate your honesty, Evan.

That's awfully intuitive of you, Elmer.

Ignore Travers, he's an idiot. I was thinking we should show this school exactly how dangerous we can be. That mudblood's hand was a great start, but we need to do more than that if anyone is going to take notice.

Got any enemies, Evan? *smirk*

How am I the idiot when Rosier can't perform a proper hex?

I suggest we use a Potion in the Halloween feast, or any dinner for that matter--nothing deadly, of course. It would be quite simple, and more effective then individual curses. Naturally, this only works if we're not going after certain individuals.

I never said he wasn't an idiot.

That's actually not a bad idea. Unless, as you said, someone wants to go after someone in particular?

Oi! It's not my fault; Snape makes bloody complicated hexes! Merlin.

Now potions I can undisputedly do. If you want a brew cooked, I'm your bloke.

I know, I know, it's all Snape's fault. Stop whining.

We could go one better and make it look like those idiots in Gryffindor did it. I know you won't want them taking the credit, but imagine the trouble they would get in. We need to make it something serious though. Any ideas?

I'druther not get into trouble for a moment's amusement. It's not too far of a stretch to imagine one of their pranks going wrong. Who isn't all for tarnishing the Gryffindor golden boys' reputations?

Lets decide on what sort of things we want the Potion to do. Would we prefer something that physically ails the body, or mentally? Perhaps an hallucinogenic for the later, a simple poison for the former.

Of course, Evan, this is one of your fortes, so I pass the reigns onto you.
