Summary:
Burt stares at the punk over his beer before turning to his son, frowning. "Can you get another one?"
The punk stiffens as Kurt gasps and gives out a weak,"DAD!"
"What?" Burt puts his beer on the coffee table before leaning back in his chair, arms crossing as he narrows his eyes at the two teens. "This is the guy who knocked up Finn's girlfriend and use to throw you in the dumpster."
Kurt pouts, looking away from his dad and crossing his own arms, "Finn was also there for the dumpster tosses."
"Sir," the punk shoulders, hunch for a second before jerking straight. "I admit. I've made a few mistakes."
Kurt snorts but Burt continues to stare unflinchingly at the kid.
The punk sighs, before continuing, "And I'm in the process of making up for some of them. I am trying to do right. And for me."
Kurt grabs his hand, smiling. "For us, he's wants to come out as my boyfriend. And I really, really want your okay."
Burt is silent for a moment, glaring at their clasped hands and Kurt's hopeful eyes before slightly shaking his head and giving a loud exhale. "Okay fine." He jerks his head up pointing a finger at the punk, no Puck. "And you remember I have a shotgun."
Puck winces and gives a weak smile, "Yes, sir."
