Still Standing
Still trying to get over this damn cold after over a week! It's driving me insane. I've gone through what seems like gallons of tea, countless cough drops, and have blown my way through rolls of toilet paper.
It's snowing yet again today. We're getting hit pretty hard this time. I honestly wouldn't mind a snowstorm nearly as much if this city knew how to get off their asses and plow a road.
New Years Eve was ok...better than last year anyway, which isn't saying much by any means. Watched movies with a few friends, ate lots of food, stayed up until 5am. I kind of felt left out that night. I hate being single. Hopefully things will change before Valentine's Day...that day can be so depressing. It's like all the couples are just trying to remind you that you're a loser all day long.
Snowboarding was fun last week. I'm still feeling some of the pain that comes with falling on your ass multiple times, but I think i'm starting to get the hang of it. If I had any money, i'd probably go out and buy me a snowboard now.
I woke up Tuesday morning with a strong feeling that I needed to be going to school this semester. I've been so paranoid that it would get in the way of my work schedule, but I decided that if I don't go back now, I might never go back. I immediately went down and signed up for two business classes (Financial Accounting and Marketing Concepts). Now I just have to figure out how i'm gonna pay for it. Hmmmm....anyone have $500 they want to borrow me??
Anyway...i'm very excited to be taking classes again, and I think i've finally found the major that's right for me.
