Supernatural Out My Window!
Oh my god! So Charlotte and I went around the corner of our hotel this evening to go to the next door Denny's to get something to eat and as we walked up, we both saw that there was a lot of crazy filming going on. We figured it was probably something stupid like a commercial, but I off-hand said, "Let's hope it's Supernatural." Then we come up to the parking lot and the FREAKING METALLICAR IS IN THE PARKING LOT!!! We both did about ten double-takes at it. I decided to walk over and talk to one of the location security people and ask what was going on just to be sure. She said, "Sorry, the Denny's closed. We're filming a TV show called Supernatural." I think I may have had a minor stroke. The location girl, whose name is Ashlynn, was very cool and let us walk over to the car and take some pictures of it as long as we stayed away from all the people, equipment and the building. We hung out with her for about an hour and a half. We even got to see Jensen and Jared walking around. We took lots of pictures, but in most of them you can't see much. We did get okay photos of their chairs with their names on it and one really good picture of them. I even got yelled at by their body guard while I was taking pictures of the Metallicar because I told Ashlynn to just yell at me to get out of the way if she needed to and he was walking past so he said, "Get out of the way." I immediately jumped out of his way and said "Sorry," which I think kind of amused him. Ashlynn was super cool and said that we could stay and watch on the sidewalk when they started filming outside, but we decided that we'd probably have a better view from the balcony of our room. We stayed outside watching the Denny's (which in the scene was renamed Big Gerson's Grill and Bar, or something like that) for hours. I heard the director yell for them to be "bouncy" and "excited" then call for balloons and the girls to take pictures. Then they filmed outside and we couldn't see them very well because they were on the other side of some trees, but Charlotte did hear Jensen yell "Line, please!" at one point. I can't believe that this happened. We totally weren't expecting it. To think, I even stole a lame advertisement out of that Denny's. I think I'll just die now.
