updating
I have my iMac G5 (non-tower) with Tiger (but no windows operating system). My printer is too old to adapt to it but I'm okay with that. First off, I have to get Adobe and then Microsoft Office. The office test drive lasts until mid-Decemberish. First thing I did was download AIM and figure out what widgets I wanted. Considering I'm still adapting to the Mac, widgets are the most addictive part. I LOVE Frogger and Texas-Hold'em. So exciting but a bit freaky because I feel like I'm being pushed and pulled between mac and pc especially with keyboard shortcuts. Now I've downloaded too many songs on itunes considering I only have 512MB memory. I dunno.
I'll have to send out my DVD covers I made in Quark class. I used both the Truffle Shuffle and Hangman's Revenge. Teacher said I had a great concept but the execution especially with color was a lacking some. I didn't care. Everyone laughed at my DVDs and it was great. So exciting.
I HATE WATERCOLORS. One more assignment and it will be over. Then its onto acrylics which may be the only medium I like in this class. Still artsy classes almost over. All computer based classes next semester.
I hate holidays but at least I got to play SIMS2 on my sister-in-laws computer for 4 hours. Whoa is that game way more advanced than SIMS 1. It'll be a while before I can get it on MAC...maybe I'll buy it as a birthday present for me...
It's snowing in Racine and my friend in Africa has 80 degree weather. Love the variety. Just hope it's safe to drive home.
