here Personality:
COMP handle YUZ, and often times called “Yoo-hoo” by a certain individual.
Upon first glance, Yuzu is your typical teenage girl. She’s bouncy, hyper, energetic, spunky, and overall kind. She loves to text and use emotes, adores spending time with the main character, and is always looking on the bright side of a situation. Yuzu tends to talk about anything and everything, and doesn’t really “think before she leaps”. Whatever comes to mind comes out of her mouth. She’s generally a nice girl, but she doesn’t think things entirely through before saying or doing them. That doesn’t make her a bad person, just instead a flawed one that needs to think about her words before opening her mouth. Of course, that average description of a bubbly highschooler is before her world is tipped upside down: before she is thrust into a situation where her and her friends must tame Demons, fight to protect the world from a war she’s not even sure she really understands, all while trying to keep a smile on her face.
Yuzu never wanted any of this. Yuzu is a simple person who could be considered considerate and understanding. She’s well in touch with other people, and likes getting to know them. She’s not a hero, by any means, and is hesitant to even use the COMP after knowing what it is capable. Demons? She doesn’t want any part of that. She’d rather leave it for someone else. Sure, she cares about the world’s future, but that doesn’t mean she wants to be the heroine. The responsibility is too much for her, and it stresses her out. Deep down, she is not sure she can handle the pressure. Even more so, she doesn’t believe she is strong enough, wise enough, fast enough to ‘save the world’ and make it through the Lockdown. It drains her. Adaptation isn’t her specialty whatsoever, considering out of the three main characters, she takes the longest to.
That’s not to say Yuzu isn’t confident and courageous. While she’s afraid to pursue the inevitable path she must take, she does it with hope and courage. She’s afraid, but she’s not going to give up just like that and run away crying. True, she may want to run away from the Demons, her problems, and the Lockdown, but it’s not an option. In the face of danger, she has stepped up to the plate, if not with a heap of worry and anxiety. But for her friends, she’ll try her hardest. Especially when she has a crush on the main character and can cheer her up instantly with a word of advice or praise.
Yuzu is patient, but is easily hurt. Atsuro, who, for whatever reason has gotten on her bad-side, adores calling her “Yoo-hoo” at any chance he gets. While he is another best friend of the main character, that doesn’t mean Yuzu is his “best pal”. In fact, she enjoys teasing him right back. She’ll critique what he says and does, try and capture the main character’s attention away from him, and basically shoot back anything he does negative towards her right back at him. Whether or not it’s a case of high-school “I bully you because I like you”, that’s still up for question. Either way, their relationship isn’t entirely the healthiest, but it shows that while Yuzu may not like everyone, she doesn’t have the ability to be outright cruel. She gets hurt, and she gets offended, but she won’t lash out hard enough to break anything. She trusts her friends, and that trust will save them, she knows it. They can work together and survive. Because not to be cliche, but her strength is her friendship and others.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
strengths:
Yuzu is a kind person. She understands people and is patient. She likes to think about what’s best She is a pro at texting and emotes, and is fairly decent at technology (though Atsuro and Naoya outshine her completely in everything from coding to basic knowledge of a COMP). She’s bright and joyful, and perhaps that’s what you need during a Lockdown, even if it drains you thoroughly. Plus she’s pretty damn attractive, which is always a plus.
weaknesses
Physically, Yuzu is very weak. She’s your average girl with no special abilities apart from a COMP that can summon demons. She isn’t the fastest, and she isn’t strong muscle-wise, either. She’s quick to be offended, and allows her emotions to drive her actions (namely if the player chooses to take Naoya’s Route, she leaves the party, unable to accept this decision at all). She snaps and can be somewhat “mean” in instances, letting her mouth get the best of her, but she isn’t cruel. She just wants to go home and wants things to go back to normal.

Uh, hi! I dunno where I am, and I kind of just woke up with some lady thinkin’ I’m her daughter and all. While this cat is realllllllly cute - and kinda strange what kinda cat is this - I’d appreciate it if someone could tell me what’s going on!
This isn’t Tokyo, right…? I don’t remember leaving the Lockdown, so what…
O-oh, right! I’m Yuzu! If anyone is even hearing this right now, please answer! Atsuro, you better respond to this! This isn’t a joke! And it’s not funny, either…!

“I told ‘em I wanted to get out of here… to go home.. but this isn’t what I meant, you know?”
Yuzu gently brushed her hand along the back of her skitty. She was situated near the exit of New Bark Town, on a bench, looking quite forlorn and for once, not her perky self. Her skitty remained curled close to her, purring occasionally, and backpack lay forgotten on the ground at her feet. She hadn’t even bothered looking inside yet. When she saw she was without her COMP, and only some strange device that couldn’t summon Demons and couldn’t in touch with Asturo or anyone else, well, she had decided to just give up for the time-being. Here was hoping someone would respond to her text or post. But then again, had she even done that right?
“Ugh….”
Yuzu shook her head, looking out at the path before her. She didn’t like this. She didn’t like being alone. That woman who thought she was her mother hadn’t helped, either. It was a surprise Yuzu hadn’t suffered a panic attack. At least with the Lockdown her friends had been there with her, and while it was stressful, she had had support. Here? Well, wherever here was, she was alone.
And she hated it.
“Are you even a cat…? Or are you a demon?” She was weary of the pokemon licking her hand. It hadn’t clicked in her head yet that those games her friends would play when they were younger, and she had tried once herself, had now become her reality. She didn’t realize she was in no immediate harm.
“This is just great.”
Another lengthy sigh and she swung her legs back and forth over the edge of the bench. In her mind, she was trying to think of how to pin this on Atsuro. Or maybe Naoya. He had gotten them into this in the first place, maybe he was behind this too. Right? Ugh….
She just wanted to go home.
