In September I came home visited the Basque Country with my buddy J again, and we had an absolutely amazing time. We discovered new, exciting places, visited familiar but no less exciting places, enjoyed the sun and the Basque cuisine, had a blast spending time with our favourite Basque girls,
xurda87 and her sisters, and, last but not least, saw Athletic

Have I ever told you you take great pictures? If I haven't, I do now!
Just a few things:
I love that "BILBAO" sign in the 'Hollywood' style at the airport. Smaller in size than the "original", but bigger because of what it says (remember: Yo soy de Bilbao!)
Was that woman in front of the funicular station posing for the picture? xDD
Oh! And as someone suggested above, the monument in Artxanda IS a fingertip (or it's supposed to be). It's known as "La huella", but I don't know if that's its real name.
And what to say about the views from up there... no words! In clear sunny days the scenary is spectacular.
Don't know why, but I like that picture where you can see the Arriaga in the middle ;)
I'm gonna skip the Gabilondo part, ok? It was embarrassing enough at the time, don't want to think of it again:D Next time, please, don't let me do that!! xDD
That building you describe as "amazing-looking" looks like "photoshopped" there. But I can tell it's real! Don't know what it is though.
The twin towers or Torres Isozaki are also known as "Isozaki atea" or "La puerta de Isozaki". Don't know why, really. Do they look like a door to the city or something? Ok, I found this. Thanks for the almighty Wikipedia xDD
That column in Alhondiga with the dragon(?) is probably my favourite of them all.
And the swimming pool... you just have to go there and see it for yourself! It's a "whole experience" :P
Ok, that's all. Now I'll wait patiently for the rest of the pictures. I know you have more!! ;)

Thank you!! I'm really glad you like the pics! :D I'm quite proud of how my camera handles colours, especially blue, green and red - my photos turn out a lot shinier than they did with my old camera! :D
The "BILBAO" sign at Loiu ROCKS. I love it so much. I was ridiculously excited when I first came to Bilbao and spotted it, and now every time I land at the airport I look for it! XD (And obviously it's a lot bigger than the one in Hollywood. It's IN BILBAO after all. XD)
LMAO @ the woman in front of the funicular, posing for the picture! XDDD I'm sure she realised we're famous people and therefore she wanted to be on our photos. XD
Thanks for the information about the fingertip and the twin towers!! :D
Next time, please, don't let me do that!! xDD
You mean, "next time don't make me do that"? XDDD I gladly take all the blame for it, it was so much fun! XD (And I guess the most embarrassed person was J... XD)
And btw, every time I look at those pics I realise once again how amazing Bilbao is. :D Definitely my favourite place in the world (well, maybe after the training centre in Lezama. XDDDD)
Going to post more pics soon - I've been planning to continue with my report for weeks now but then I was stressed by work and Christmas preparations and didn't get anything done at all. But I haven't forgotten about my photos!! :D
