The downside of postponing picspams? One ends up with too many pics for one post. *fails* So there's going to be 150 pics in this post and the rest shall be saved for later.
No Te Va Gustar and La Celeste are having a party. Do you want to join them? I know I do! XD
So, what happened lately?
Fernando Llorente celebrated his 26th birthday! Too bad he couldn't celebrate the day with a goal against Valencia (or a victory, for that matter), but I'm sure he still had a great day!
Iker Casillas had a birthday too! Happy 30th, Iker!
Iker also featured heavily at the Fallas in Valencia this year... XD
"The most-watched move of the World Cup". XD
I'm sure you all agree with me that the likeness is astonishing. ;)
As you can see, Paul the octopus was very popular at the Fallas, too!
And this statue is obviously supposed to tell us that Levante got fucked by referees this season. ;) I love the Fallas. XDD
Athletic were fucked by referees as well, for instance against Valencia, when David Navarro, the fucking cheater, pretended to be injured just so he wouldn't get booked for a real injury that he inflicted on Fernando Llorente. >.<
In other news, I found pics of Mesut Özil and Sami Khedira that were taken for the World Cup in South Africa.
Nom nom nom, zebra arm!
To be honest, I prefer what he normally looks like. >.>
Speaking of people making themselves look weird, Javier Zanetti attended a carnival party with his family and decided to dress as the Mad Hatter.
As difficult as it is to believe, it's really him.
Let's move on to prettier things.
For instance Fernando Llorente modelling for the new Athletic Club summer collection!
Or Athletic's new second kit, which I think looks fantastic and I want it.
I also want Javi Martínez.
The presentation of the new shirts was awesome. The entire team was there, and some fans who had pre-worn the new shirts handed them over to the players.
I'm basically just posting these pics because I love how Javi is leaning on everyone. XD
And because Igor Martínez is adorable!
The team got to wear the kit for the first time in the away match against Espanyol. Looking smashing, guys!!
The ref didn't quite agree but Fernando talked some sense into him.
Athletic also got a new team bus! (The big one in the back, that is. XD)
Moving on. At some point this year (I don't exactly remember when), some players of La Selección visited a restaurant together and there were awesome pics!
I always adore pics of Llorente with tiny people. XD
Pepe and Fer incidentally wore the same jacket.
Or maybe the one borrowed it from the other during that evening. I'm not entirely sure.
Continuing with Llorente, who went to London a while ago to promote the new Adidas Predator boot. He also got a haircut. (Though I'm not sure if he got that in London.)
Does anyone else think that this blue suits him ridiculously well?
Speaking of endorsement deals, Fer and Javi did this hilarious presentation for San Miguel.
They also got to open a gigantic beer bottle with a gigantic bottle opener. (Now I wonder who got to drink all that beer. XD)
Adorbs!!
Meanwhile, Carlos Marchena, Santi Cazorla, Roberto Soldado and Pablo Hernández were all in.
And some manhandling happened during the Clásicos.
Our pretty second goalkeeper Raúl Fernández debuted for the first team in the Basque derby this season!
He played very well against Real Sociedad, just like he posed very well in this photoshoot. XD
He's really tall too, but not THAT tall. ;)
Andoni Iraola played so well for Athletic this season that he earned himself a call-up for La Selección. The same goes for his teammates Fer and Javi. I was very proud. :D
He got to play against Lithuania and immediately got his opponents worried about him. ;)
Another fun thing happened against Lithuania: Llorente played with the old shirt, the one without the star. ;)
I also found some more pics of Javi's photocall before the World Cup!
Currently Javi is proudly defending the honour of La Rojita with his Athletic teammates Iker Muniain and Mikel San José...
... as well as Ander Herrera (#18).
This is Ander Herrera during his presentation at San Mamés!
And here he is with Iker Muniain during the Athletic-Zaragoza match.
Liverpool had a new signing as well this season! Welcome to Anfield, Luis Suárez!!
Luis got accustomed to his new team immediately.
And everyone was happy to have him there.
Xabier Etxeita, formerly of Athletic, signed a contract with Elche this season.
And another former Athletic player, Iñigo Pérez, is happy at SD Huesca.
José Javier Barkero, formerly of Real Sociedad, signed a contract with Levante.
Nacho Camacho joined Málaga from Atlético.
Vicente Guaita extended his contract with Valencia until 2015.
Kiko Femenía has decided to leave Hércules.
Real Madrid bought back José Callejón from Espanyol.
Borja Ekiza signed a professional contract at Athletic!
Meanwhile, Javi Martínez extended his contract until 2016, making me very very happy. :D
As far as rumours are considered, Boca Juniors are allegedly interested in buying back Fernando Gago.
And Athletic legend Julen Guerrero is linked with a youth coach position at Málaga CF!
Fran Yeste won some trophy with Al Wasl and is now going to be coached by Diego Maradona!
Peñarol advanced to the final of the Copa Libertadores!
Real Madrid won the Copa del Rey, which means Iker Casillas has now won everything.
Sergio Ramos adopted the torero celebration from Raúl.
Özil and Khedira were being adorable together.
Álvaro Arbeloa took advantage of the opportunity to glomp Esteban Granero. Aww!
Iker posed proudly with the cup.
And after demonstrating his affections for the silverware...
... he continued in the same fashion with Cibeles!
David Silva won the FA Cup with Manchester City.
The win prompted his teammate Carlos Tévez to adorn himself with parts of the cup.
Borussia Dortmund won the Bundesliga. I might not approve of the BVB but I definitely approve of their half-naked celebrations.
And of Mats Hummels. (If only Bayern hadn't sold him!! :()
Athletic had something to celebrate as well this season: they qualified for the Europa League!
During the season, they also went on road trips which seem to have been loads of fun.
*nudges
july_v* XD
Urko Vera and Koikili being adorable.
The following part of this picspam consists of random nice/interesting pics that I found but can't really categorise like the others, so just lean back and enjoy. ;)
Miguel Torres of Getafe.
Markel Susaeta of Athletic. (Get better soon, Markel!!)
Zipi and Zape Álvaro Arbeloa and Raúl Albiol posing in England shirts. (Don't ask.)
Jack Wilshere of Arsenal has a very interesting taste in underwear.
Diego Godín of Atlético Madrid. I still can't believe this man spoke to me. *beams*
Fernando Llorente went on holiday to Paris.
Guti and Raúl, formerly of Real Madrid. *sigh*
Carles Puyol of Barcelona.
Martín Demichelis of Málaga.
Steven Gerrard of Liverpool FC.
Xabi Alonso at the Liverpool waterfront.
Pretty David Silva of Manchester City.
Diego Forlán of Atlético.
Yes We Cani of Villarreal.
Álvaro Negredo of Sevilla FC.
Marcelo of Real Madrid, looking adorable.
Ander Iturraspe of Athletic.
José Ernesto Sosa of Napoli.
Gonzalo Higuaín of Real Madrid.
Aritz Aduriz of Valencia.
Koke of Atlético.
Gorka Elustondo and Mikel Aranburu celebrating with Xabi Prieto.
Pedro León of Real Madrid (though it's not hard to forget which club he's playing for as he's never actually playing).
Fernando Muslera of Uruguay.
Shinji Kagawa of Borussia Dortmund.
Daniel Aranzubia of Deportivo La Coruña.
Reservoir Dogs Real Madrid players leaving a plane.
Santi Cazorla of Villarreal.
And another because he's so adorable.
Jamie Carragher of Liverpool FC.
Xabi Prieto of Real Sociedad.
Sergio Canales and Esteban Granero of Real Madrid. Why isn't there more fic about them?
And now, for some eye-candy of the shirtless or otherwise skin-showing kind! (The best kind, right? XD)
We're going to start with Javi Martínez's delicious tummy.
And this pic of Fernando Llorente that made me stare open-mouthed for about 5 minutes. O_O
Aitor Ocio doesn't show himself off badly either.
Javi Martínez being shirtless and behaving adorably with Iker Munain. Do I need more reasons to post this pic? ;)
Andy Carroll seems quite eager to show skin, too!
I feel like a creepy stalker posting these but they're too great not to share!
Very nice, Andy! XD
Daniel Agger's tattoos are mighty fine...
As is Xabi Alonso. Duuuude. (Okay, Thiago isn't bad either.)
I also like this scan despite the ugly watermark.
Who thought Kaká had it in him to take such pics? ;)
Marcos Angeleri is a natural.
This is Rafa Jordà of Levante, and holy hell, I approve.
Finally, something I found rather amusing:
