What an eventful weekend! :D Last Saturday bibi_bloom and I met the players of the Uruguayan national team and also attended the friendly between Germany and Uruguay in Sinsheim! It was absolutely amazing. We had so much fun!

I'm practically stifling joyful screams with a pillow while looking at this post. There's so many lovely pictures in it, and... wow, I'm a little bit speechless, actually!
But: LUGANO!!!! HE IS SERIOUSLY TOO PRETTY TO BE REAL!!!! And you have like... FOUR pictures of him. I obviously saved them all already :D And I must admit, I had some trouble moving on from that part of the post. Especially this picture is insanely gorgeous, and I can't even fully understand how gorgeous he is. He's perfect. Really. Perfect. Yes, that.
Also, more Diegos - I love both you and Bibi for getting nice and clear pics of Forlán. I don't even know if it makes sense when I say that he is not "perfect" in the same way as Lugano, but I still have more of a crush on him. Does it make sense? No, not to me either. I honestly think I love the two of them equally much, but in different ways...
Oh, and you're SO RIGHT that Pereira is much more adorable than I realized. Same applies to Sebastián Fernández, btw. When I researched him while writing Bibi's birthday fic, he was not nearly that adorable as he is in your pics.
Ahem, don't get me started on Cavani. Let me just say that I'd prefer to give him a good kick. The irritating thing is just that YES, I can see that he's hot... but at the same time I absolutely cannot stand him, and so he's not hot either.
What, Godín actually said that?! AW, THAT SO GAVE HIM 4545334x BONUS COOL POINTS from me :) Plus he already has bonus cool points for being an Atleti player and for preventing a fight in a match earlier in the season :)
Oh, and as for the replacement goalie, as Jenni already told you above, he's from Nacional. I think his name is Rodrigo Muñoz. My Twitter timeline kinda exploded when he got called up, so that's why I know - it's not like I keep track of Nacional people unless they're Sebastián Coates ;).

Feel free to save all the pictures! I thought of you when I took the Lugano pics as you like him so much. But trust me, pictures don't even come close to how pretty he is in real life.
It was quite difficult for me to get a good pic of Forlán because I'm not that tall and everyone was jumping at him when he came out, otherwise I would have taken more pics! And it does make sense that you have more of a crush on Forlán than on Lugano. Lugano might be superficially prettier but I think Forlán is more awesome. ;)
If I weren't so ridiculously shy I would probably have glomped Pereira or something, he's really way too adorable! And I didn't get to see much of Sebastián Fernández but considering what bibi_bloom told me of her conversation with him, he must be very adorable indeed!
LOL, I like Cavani, but he was just useless during the match. *sigh*
I don't remember exactly what Godín said but it was definitely a comment about how all the fans were jumping at Forlán. It made me grin so much! XD I loved the guy when he was at Villarreal and I was gutted when he left (I'm not really that fond of Atlético, as you know), but at least I can still cheer for him when he's with La Celeste. ;)
