A couple of days ago I got a PM from neapeaikea, and because I'm made of utter fail when it comes to reading and replying to messages in time, I only managed to check out the PM today. And I'm very happy that I did because I returned kind of exhausted from our family dinner to celebrate Mother's Day, so a good cheer-up was exactly what I needed. And I got more than that.
In April, neapeaikea wrote an utterly amazing fic about Aritz Aduriz and Roberto Soldado and I commented on it, saying that I wished Aritz Aduriz would get more attention in this fandom. She remembered that comment and decided to share something with me that totally made my day.
Valencia CF recently did a photoshoot. Of Aritz Aduriz. With surfers. Yes, you're reading that right. And after I'd tried for about 10 minutes to get the images of Shelter out of my head - unsuccessfully, as it turned out - I watched the video.
I could comment on how pretty and awesome and adorable and gorgeous he is, and how much I love his smile, but... Did you see his ass? That utterly gorgeous and perfect ass? If it were up to me he would be wearing surfer suits every day, all the time (or, alternatively, be naked). Because... nngh. Perfect.

I wish people would write him more. I do realise he's benched a lot these days (though I don't think it's fair!), but he's being a model pro and never complaining and always giving 100%. I'm still sad he left us.
