picspam: random favourites...

Jan 09, 2011 00:07

The downside of having no time to post picspams? After a while you end up with WAY too many pics to post. XD I wanted to post this shortly after Christmas, when I still had about 70 pics (still a lot, but more or less reasonable), but I never had time, and now I have 146 pics. So if the hotness of the pics doesn't manage to kill you, the amount of them might kill your connection. XDD

Starting this chronologically, Real Madrid did a hilarious Christmas video (though the blooper video is even more hilarious) and also published a couple of really pretty pics, like this one of Xabi Alonso and Esteban Granero.

Or this one of Álvaro Arbeloa and Sergio Canales (who managed to scratch himself throughout the entire video XD).

Raúl Albiol and Kaká spent most of the time discussing who would do the greetings, but fortunately they had time to pose for a picture in between. ;)

And of course Gonzalo Higuaín and Ezequiel Garay had to do the Christmas greetings together once again. By now even the least slash-perceptive person must think they're obvious. ;)

The Real Madrid video isn't the only thing that happened at the end of last year: Álvaro Arbeloa and Raúl Albiol got married to each other! Well, not really. But they were pranked for the Inocente, Inocente gala. XD In case you want to see the video, go here, the prank is a bit lame but the guys' reactions are well worth seeing!

The prank was the idea of Iker Casillas, so Zipi and Zape promptly sent Xabi Alonso to take revenge. XDD

But Iker doesn't have to worry, there are still people who love him, like David Silva for instance. ;)

And Marcelo, who obviously loves everyone.

Fernando Llorente was supposed to play at the Champions for Africa charity match but as he was injured, he decided to watch the game from the bench.

On the same day, Ander Herrera was in the squad of the Basque national team for the friendly against Venezuela.

Continuing chronologically, Iker and Luis Figo wish you a happy new year!

Iker also participated in something important, but I don't remember what it is, I'm too distracted by his jeans.

Xabi Alonso was honoured by his home town, Tolosa. I'm not sure what that spear is supposed to signify and why he's holding it upside down, though.

Martín Demichelis signed for Málaga C.F. As a Bayern supporter I'm obviously sad that he left, but he looks very happy now so I guess it was all for the best. Though really, I could have killed him earlier today, he was way too good.

David Villa had something named after him.

Royston Drenthe had some problems with Hércules.

Sergio Canales recently decided to grow a bit of a beard. Or maybe he just glued it on to look more grown-up, I'm not entirely sure. ;)

Fernando Llorente made sure that everything is in place.

Carles Puyol, Cesc Fàbregas and Gerard Piqué brought the lolz on Twitter - if you want to read all about it, go visit conlaroja, it's well worth it!

Sergio Ramos posed with a pen.

As did Carles Puyol. If anyone can tell me why they did that, I'd be most obliged. ;)

Oh yeah, and the Copa del Rey also happened. Javi Martínez made sure I wouldn't forget by posing with a Rolls Royce and a Barcelona ball (I don't mind that, one can kick it).

And then he decided to show me his feet, at which point I completely lost my ability to focus. O__O Ahem.

The first leg against Barcelona was absolutely amazing. (Though I'm sure Xavi disagrees with that. XD)

I also love this pic, for obvious reasons.

As for the second leg, I'm not going to say anything about that because I'd get too agitated. I'm going to let this picture (from the first leg) speak for itself. (AUPA ATHLETIC!)

So let's focus on happier events, like this "ha ha, busted!" pic of my OTP. XD Javi doesn't seem to mind at all, but Fernando obviously doesn't like paparazzi. ;)

This pic is begging for a caption contest, isn't it? XD

They probably thought nobody would notice their subtle hand-touching on the set of Uyyyyy!, but blue_eyed_miss and I have eagle eyes when it comes to this. ;)

:D

Let's continue with some more Athletic pics, shall we? Like this one of Ander Iturraspe and Fernando Llorente, from a time when Athletic didn't have a shirt sponsor yet.

Or this adorable one of Javi hugging Carlos Gurpegi, aww. :D

Speaking of Javi, apparently he's doing some side studies!

I'm sure his mum approves of this!

Fernando Llorente was a guest at El Hormiguero last year, and I finally stumbled over some pics!

The entire show was hilarious, but the part where he plays the clarinet must be my favourite. XDD If you want to watch the video, go here.

And I also stumbled over this pic! Yes, that really is him. XD I wish he'd wear hats more often!

Some Xabi Castillo for blue_eyed_miss. :D

A long time ago he played for Real Sociedad...

But now he's where he belongs. (At Athletic, that is. Not sure if I want to think he belongs to Fernando Amorebieta and this girl. *LOL*)

And we get to see pics of his medicals, so it's a win/win situation. XDD

Joaquín Caparrós agrees. XD

I've already posted pics of Iker Muniain's birthday in my last post but I simply have to share this one as well.

Ustaritz Aldekoaotalora deserves some attention too, and not just because of his awesome name. XD

The two Fernandos on the bus. Is it just me or does Llorente look like he's saying "woooooo-hooooo!" in this pic? XDD

I can has plane ticket. What can you has?

GAYWATCH! XD

In other hilarious news, Koikili Lertxundi once again did his best to make me laugh during the past few weeks - first of all with this picture in which he looks like a Christmas Elf...

... and secondly with this picture, in which only a catwalk is missing. XDD I love this guy. XD

Some other guys decided to model properly, like Fernando Llorente, though I'm not sure if that pullover was a good choice... ;)

This shirt definitely looks better, though I might be biased. XD (Damn the person who decided to put text all over him! *grmbls*)

I also found this picture of Cristiano Ronaldo in which he totally doesn't look like himself. Maybe that's why I like it. XDD

And because we can never have too many pics of players modelling, let's have some more, shall we? :D

Xabi Castillo. (*nudges blue_eyed_miss* XD)

Royston Drenthe.

Bojan Krkić.

Aitor Ocio.

Rubén de la Red.

Mario Gómez.

Carles Puyol.

Mmmmmmmmm.

David Villa.

The jacket is most questionable, but at least we get to see some abs. ;)

And some more abs. Yum, yum, yum.

Memo Ochoa.

Mark González.

Pedro Rodríguez.

Yoann Gourcuff.

And finally Gerard Piqué. I don't like him, but I must admit that this is a nice picture.

This is a nice picture too. (See what I did there? Hah, I rock at transitions. XD)

Let's have some more pics about La Selección, shall we? Somehow I found this one extremely adorable.

This one is adorable, too. I would really like to know what Javi did to his hair there... (Or was it someone else? XDD I hope it wasn't Mata! O__O)

Busted, Javi! XD (And "busted, Bill", I guess. But you knew that even my Selección picspams would focus heavily on Javi, right? XD)

Probably the most entertaining bench in the world. ;)

This pic makes me think a lot of things, 99% of which are about as dirty as they are creepy. (Naughty naughty Xabi!)

I had seen an icon of this pic before, but not the pic itself. Thank God the days of cluelessness are over. XD

Pretty Javi profile...

Another pretty Javi pic. I really don't care what anyone says, to me this guy is perfect.

I wish I could have taken part in this conversation... ;)

Fernando Llorente and his funny faces rock my world.

He seems pretty pleased about this.

Not sure if you've seen the video of this, where Cesc walked around pretty much like that, with a beer in one hand and his other hand in his shorts, but I'm even more amused that there is actually a photo. XD

And because I can't be bothered to think of another witty transition (I've already spent over 4 hours on this picspam, my brain is slightly overloaded), I'm just going to post this adorable pic of Pepe Reina and way too many gloves, okay? XD

Speaking of adorable, I haven't seen any of Joseba Garmendia in ages! But I guess the fact that he plays for Numancia (i.e. in the second division) now explains it... :/

Look, it's the Virus! XD Unfortunately Dani Güiza is still in Turkey, so I don't really see that much of him anymore either. :/

I'm not sure a caption is actually needed for this picture.

Carlos Marchena and Joan Capdevila. Busted, guys! XD

Hello Cesc! (Stay away from Barcelona, will you?)

Mario Gómez has been pretty awesome this season and thanks to july_v's fic request (still working on it, no worries!) I also realised he's rather hot. Which means he'll probably feature in my picspams more often, considering how many good pics I'll find in the future. ;)

And since we are on topic, of course my picspam wouldn't be complete without a picture of Miguel "Muy Guapo" Torres. (Unfortunately still at Getafe. One day I might stop saying this, but right now I have to say it.)

Which brings me directly to the next big part of this picspam: pics that are insanely pretty. (Or rather, the guys on them are.)

Of course Fernando Llorente has to feature in this part.

Okay, this pic isn't exactly new, but it is pretty!

I'm going to try not to distract you with too many captions.

Is it just me or does Álvaro look more gorgeous every day? *stares*

And the same applies to Pedro León. Holy wow.

Igor Martínez is really really pretty, too. Especially when he flashes some skin.

Sergio Canales wants to be represented in this category as well. (Though I wouldn't have minded putting him with the completely shirtless guys that are about to follow.)

Like Marcos Angeleri, who joined Sunderland this season.

Gareth Bale isn't really a player I find particularly pretty (or hot, for that matter), but I know that several people on my flist do, so I decided to include these rather interesting pics of him. ;) Note the pink undies!

If you haven't noticed yet, this is the shirtless part of my picspam. XD

See? I'm not going to stop posting shirtless pics any time soon, so you better make sure you're sat down and trying to breathe normally.

Javier Pastore totally reminds me of Gael García Bernal here.

Diego Forlán isn't just shirtless here but a lot more than that. His captain Antonio López is so aroused by this that he can't wait until after the match to rip Forlán's clothes off. I must say I can't blame him.

Raúl and Fernando Morientes are giving us a nice view, too.

blue_eyed_miss and I figured that Javi Martínez's new year resolution must be to be shirtless as often as possible, which is why he granted us this gorgeous view after the Basque national team's friendly match against Venezuela. I approved entirely, which means I couldn't stop staring at the pic and was probably incoherent for half a day. Thank you, Javi! :D

And it continued! Before the Copa del Rey second leg against Barcelona, Javi handed out posters to the fans watching Athletic train in Lezama, and to everyone's enjoyment (especially mine), he decided to take his shirt off again. I won't even admit how long I've stared at this pic.

And because we can never have enough shirtless Javi, have another pic that I stumbled over on Google image search. (Google should think about including warnings like "beware, you might find pics of shirtless Javi Martínez which can cause breathing trouble and/or fainting and/or heart attacks and/or spontaneous horniness", shouldn't they?)

Moving on. Mario Gómez definitely knows how to look hot when having fallen flat on his face.

This is a pic from Mario's Stuttgart days, but I doubt his abs are any less hot today. ;)

Speaking of hot abs... *fans self*

And since I once again managed to return to Fernando Llorente, I have to include these, which are not shirtless pics per se, but holy fuck. Also, I want to be that guy in the red shirt. O__O

Especially here.

And especially here. Holy fucking hell.

Gonzalo Rodríguez is obviously affected by the hotness of these pics, too.

As is Xabi Alonso... ;)

And if you've made it this far and are still alive (or barely alive), this one is for you:

Fran Yeste, who was obviously a fan of Athletic as well as a player. Funnily enough his new club recently played a friendly against Hamburger SV, which was on TV here, but I missed it because I only learned about its existence on the next day. In retrospect I would have loved to watch it because I really do miss Yeste.

I hope you enjoyed this huge picspam, and that both you and your internet connection made it out of this post alive! XD
