cup time, a.k.a. the football god moves in mysterious ways...

Eskerrik asko, Athletic. Zu zara nagusia. Beti zurekin. ♥

God, I'm so fucking happy. Of course it's "just" a draw, but it's a 0-0 at the Camp Nou, and we're a bit made of fail when it comes to doing well in away matches, AND we had to do without Llorente, so it totally feels like a victory just now.

*happydances*

And I was so nervous before the match, I can tell you. Well, to be honest, I was nervous for the entire 90 minutes of the match as well because I couldn't watch it. My uncle had got my dad and me tickets for the German Cup match between my home town club and Schalke tonight, and since it's pretty cold in Germany at the moment, I had to wrap myself up in about 5 layers of clothing, which meant that I couldn't reach my phone during the game to check the updates that Becky kindly sent me. *cries* And then, at full time, I dug out my phone and checked the messages and NEARLY DROPPED MY PHONE when I read the final score.

Not even the fact that Augsburg lost 1-0 against Schalke (who failed to create one single chance to score during the first half and then got lucky in the second when in one single moment Augsburg's defense collectively fell asleep) could bother me anymore after that, I was beaming like an idiot and humming the Athletic anthem (to myself *LOL*) and feeling SO FUCKING HAPPY.

What this club is doing to me cannot be healthy, but I wouldn't want it any other way.

Bring on the second leg! AUPA ATHLETIC! :)
