As usual I didn't have any time for LJ over the weekend, but I'm planning to do some catching up during the next few days. Of course it's impossible to catch up on everything, and I certainly won't comment on everything, but if there's anything special that you want me to see or that you want me to comment on, please drop me some links! I promise I'll do my best.
Meanwhile, have a little picspam, because I hate coming back from hiatus empty-handed. :D The picspam will feature Athletic (of course), because you all know how much I love that club, but there'll also be other pretty pictures which I stumbled over during the past few months. I picked only the best pics, but that's still a lot of pics, so beware, this post is NOT dialup-friendly!
Let us start with something pretty: Aitor Ocio was elected Sexiest Footballer by the football magazine Don Balón. Congratulations!
The guy on the right is Xabi Castillo and valid proof for the theory that people named Xabi are gorgeous. ;)

A few days ago the awesome Gorka Iraizoz extended his contract until summer 2015!
Igor Martínez had his breakthrough in the first team this season.
Koikili Lertxundi doesn't just have a most awesome name, the guy is made of awesome as well. Especially when he's a bit grumpy.
Koikili is not easy to impress. Especially not with stupid red cards.
I love how he protests. It's just too cute.
There was perfect symmetry between my reactions and the players' reactions to the referee's decisions during the match against Sevilla. *gmbls*

How long I've waited for the photographers to publish this picture! I'd seen various angles of it already but never this particular one!

Rubén de la Red was offered a job at Real Madrid after retiring from professional football.
Raúl Albiol is still adorkable. Thank God some things never change. ;)
Miguel Torres is still at Getafe but thankfully still extremely gorgeous. XD
Bojan is still driving me insane. *sigh* LOOK AT HIM.
Maxi Rodríguez is at Liverpool now, but I'm sure he still gets along well with Diego Forlán. I mean, who wouldn't? ;)
Sadly the transfer of Martín Cáceres to Sevilla wasn't just a bad dream... Ah well, as long as he's happy, I probably shouldn't complain.

The boys won't be there, of course (at least not on the city hall balcony), and there probably won't be that many people, but the Nervión will still be there, and the funny sculpture in front of the bridge, and the BBK panoramic platform, and everything else! XD
And also, blue_eyed_miss and jennis_footie shall be there, and we shall be strolling along the Gran Vía de Don Diego López de Haro, and hopefully meet xurda87, and have the most brilliant time. :D *is incredibly excited*
