How can the weekend be over already? *sigh* Ah well, maybe the end of the weekend will also bring an end to my quasi-lurkdom on LJ (meaning that I do save stuff but don't get to read anything because I either have a RL or I waste time watching videos/films or browsing for stuff on Wikipedia

As for the film itself, I don't remember much about it (I watched it a long time ago) but I'm pretty sure that I found the concept interesting, and I'd watch it again. It's basically about a whole bunch of gay male couples getting married in Madrid in this mass ceremony, and the film follows a few of those couples (and their mothers, lol) in a vaguely rom-com style thing. It's one of those films with many characters who are all linked in some way - I have a weakness for films like that. I guess it's like a conventional rom-com but with a more interesting premise! I can't remember if it was actually funny or clever, though, just that I liked the concept. It's like any movie about a bunch of couples getting ready to get married; it doesn't make a huge spectacle about the fact that they're gay men. But at the same time, it doesn't shy away from that. Bah, I should stop trying to explain this film that I can't even recall properly.
Oh, and my mother adored Love in the Time of Cholera and I'd say that she has pretty good taste. :) Besides, isn't Javier Bardem in it? Mmmmmm, he is fine.

My mum wanted to watch that film but then forgot, but from what I read about it on Wikipedia, I'm sure she'd have liked it. I'm not really into that type of story usually, but once I discovered that Javier Bardem is in the film, I really have to see it. XD (Have you seen Vicky Cristina Barcelona? Another brilliant film of his. :D)

Oh, you have to see that one! Javier Bardem is brilliant, and I also loved the female leads, especially Penélope Cruz. That woman is a goddess. :D And there was so much chemistry between the main characters, wow. :)
