The advantage of being ages behind on LJ posts? I get to experience the World Cup all over again! :D I'm currently right in the middle of the celebrations, which feels really awesome, and I wish it would last forever! :D

The downside is that most of the videos that people linked to when they made their celebration posts are offline already. Does anyone have any good videos of the celebrations (locker room, plane, Madrid)? I'd love to see them.

And if you're interested in re-living the World Cup, here's some links (Spain-centered, sorry!) that you might enjoy:

• The World Cup blog of unamadridista, con_la_roja. Player information, anecdotes, videos, interviews, endorsement deals, and fantastic summaries of the book about the Selección during the Euro 2008. Definitely the best blog about this year's World Cup.
  
• The awesome match discussions of Spain vs Switzerland by distira ( here) and derbis ( here). The football aspect of this fandom is getting far too little attention, so those two posts made me feel ecstatic.

• jennis_footie's picspams. No matter which team you want to see, she's got them all, and she finds the most beautiful pictures.
  
• dailydoseofiker. No, I'm not just reccing this because I'm biased. I can't remember ever having seen a community about a football player that was as well run as this one is. lunar_art is doing a fantastic job at spreading the Iker love.

Here is a list of all the important things that happen in the video, but my favourite must be when Carles enters the room wearing nothing but a towel around his hips and everyone makes lewd sounds. XDDDDDD

And did you know that Álvaro del Bosque, the coach's son who has Down Syndrome, became an ardent supporter of Javi and Fernando because he went on a safari with them and their family members and ended up really liking them? Dude, how I wish I had been there with them!

Okay, enough with the Javi/Fernando babbling, I hope you'll find me lots of awesome celebration vids! *nudgenudge* ;)

I'm still not done catching up on the World Cup, so if I find more interesting stuff, I'll add it to this post.
