It's probably common knowledge that I'm a movie crack. Also that I usually don't go for the Hollywood heartthrobs but prefer the underrated, really talented sort of actors. And that I love good movie discussions and can never get enough movie recommendations

Many people have told me that his accent in Swingtown was bad, but we've established that he can do accents, so maybe it was the director's fault? XDDD
YES! Gypsy Woman is definitely all that! And it looks a lot less low-budget than it is! I really liked the colour editing that was done on the landscape shots. Very pretty scenery. And I know it's silly, but in my opinion the haircut Jack has as Leon suits him best. :)
I like the way he gave depth and thought to what was really an ancillary character
That is really the best part about the film, and one of the many reasons why Jack is one of my favourite actors.
But yeah, it's the predictability of the story and the rather shallow argument in the end which you mentioned that made the film a bit less enjoyable for me than I would have liked. And I'm generally not fond of wedding films. But if you're a fan of the genre and don't mind the rather uneventful storyline, it can be quite an amusing film, I give you that. (I admit that I was in stitches after Ed's drunken scene... XD)
