1. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
I visited Liverpool! And OMG, it was so awesome there. Can't wait to return next year! :D
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Let's see. I wanted to be a bit more active in the fandom. In 2008, I wrote 43,036 words of fic, made 1,082 icons and posted 10 picspams. This year, I wrote 32,336 words of fic, made 763 icons and posted 8 picspams. FAIL on every level. Ah well, it was fun nevertheless. ;)
My resolutions for next year are (1) to be a bit more active, sports-wise, (2) to write more fic than this year, (3) to learn Spanish and (4) to read more than 100 books.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
My parents' former work colleague died. She knew my parents even before they got together (they were working for the same firm), and she's known and cared for my brother and me since we were born.
5. What countries did you visit?
The Netherlands, England and Austria. :D
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
The league and/or Champions League title for at least one of my clubs.
7. What dates from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
1. My travelling to Amsterdam, Liverpool, Vienna and Dortmund and spending time with great friends there.
2. The Real Madrid friendly in Dortmund, the Liverpool friendly in Vienna, and the Audi Cup in Munich (FORLÍN!).
3. Going out with lhuneldaiel, crazy_girl_86 and stern_suedens in Augsburg and entertaining an entire restaurant with slashy football talk ("grilled chicken, anyone?").
4. Seeing "Tanz der Vampire" in Vienna with manuanya. Most amazing performance ever.
5. Meeting up with jennis_footie and olivialaura25 and showing them my home town.
6. The day I was made a proper civil servant for life, because it ended a lawsuit of over 1.5 years.
7. My birthday and Christmas, because so many people made me happy on those days.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Writing four fics for a deadline. I suck at meeting deadlines, so I consider this a really big achievement.
9. What was your biggest failure?
The fact that I didn't go to Madrid in December to meet up with blue_eyed_miss and crazy_girl_86.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Some minor stuff in the first half of 2009, but I've had a nagging cold since August and it recently came out that it's due to swollen polyps, which probably will have to get operated next year.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
So many things! First of all, the train/plane tickets for my travelling, the tickets for the matches & the musicals, and the souvenirs, but also the many board games I bought recently.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
sebastiona for always being there for me and for being the most wonderful friend a guy can have, manuanya for taking me back as a friend (♥), crazy_girl_86 for organising the trip to Dortmund, burningliz for inviting me to see Liverpool, and my parents for humouring me and playing so many board games with me. (I can be an insufferable git sometimes. XD)
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
I don't want to mention any names, but some of my friends were hurt this year, and those who did it should be really really sorry.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Travelling, football, DVDs, music, books and board games. I don't have a life. XD
15. What are you really, really, really excited about?
SPAIN! I'm definitely going to go there next year, and I'm majorly excited as I've never been to the country in my life! My family and I are going to visit Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia in May/June, and in September I'm going to visit the Basque Country (including Bilbao and Donostia) with my ex-bf. :D
16. What song will always remind you of 2009?
"Silencio" by David Bisbal, "Lucrecia" by Ska-P, "Con Nombre de Guerra" by Héroes del Silencio, and "20 de Enero" by La Oreja de Van Gogh. I've listened to them so often this year, they could practically be a soundtrack. :D
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? Happier, definitely.
b) thinner or fatter? Probably fatter. Thank God I don't have scales at home. XD
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Sports.

Eating crap. XD
20. How did you spend Christmas?

Queer as Folk. I loved many others, but this one stands out.

I don't really hate anyone.

I read so many good books! I suppose the one that moved me the most is Brian Reade's fantastic "44 Years With The Same Bird".

Ska-P doesn't count because I knew some of their songs back in 2003 already, so I'm going to say La Oreja de Van Gogh.
28. What did you want and get?
Dependable friends, happiness, a good job and enough money.
29. What did you want and not get?
A friend who's into football and lives close by.
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
I watch so many films that it's really difficult to pick out just one, but if I have to, I'll say "The Boat That Rocked" because, well, IT ROCKED. XD

I was (am) 25, and had a fantastic evening with teh_farmer, stern_suedens and my ex-boyfriend, eating a buffet and - playing board games. (I'm so predictable, I know, but it really made me happy.)
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Honestly? Having a body like Iker Casillas. (One part of it would have been enough already.)
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2009?
Fashion concept? *laughs madly* If I have to find a name for the way I dress, it would probably be "alternative" or "not like everyone else". XD

My wonderful girl sebastiona. ♥
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Iker Casillas. For many many MANY reasons.
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Obama getting the Nobel Peace Prize.
