At about this time a hitherto unsuccessful fortune-teller living on the other side of the block chanced to glance into her scrying bowl, gave a small scream and, within the hour, had sold her jewellery, various magical accoutrements, most of her clothes and almost all her other possessions that could not be conveniently carried on the fastest horse she could buy. The fact that later on, when her house collapsed in flames, she herself died in a freak landslide in the Morpork Mountains, proves that Death, too, has a sense of humour.

In other words, I've read all the Agatha Christie books I own and have moved on to Terry Pratchett's "Discworld" series, which I've meant to read for ages, ever since I discovered "Discworld Noir" in the computer games store and loved it so much that I've played it several times so far.

As for now, I only own "The Colour of Magic" and "The Light Fantastic", but if they continue to be as great as the first 35 pages of "The Colour of Magic" are, then I'm sure I'll buy more once I've finished them.

Any "Discworld" lovers out there? I'm sure I'd like to have a little chat once I've read more. :)
