Thanks to kurdt105 for linking to this absolutely hilarious article that explores the theory of Tintin being gay. XD

Of course Tintin's gay. Ask Snowy.

His adventures have sold more than 200 million copies and been translated into 50 languages, and this weekend he celebrates his 80th birthday. But how well do we really know Tintin? One thing's for ( Read more... )

've always found Tintin's relationship with Chang incredibly slashy.
I won't say it wasn't, that would be a lie - but i'm a classic and i always assumed he and the captain had something going on ;)

Well, I like that theory a lot better than the bestiality one put forth on Torchwood...

Eek. Well, I don't see much of a basis for that, actually.

Read it in the Dutch media as well.

They are, aren't they? XD
I found the link to the Telegraph article in a friend's LJ and checked out the comments it got, and it's really sad that so many people don't have any sense of humour at all. *sigh*

I love how the media is set on twisting my childhood. Not that I'm surprised about Tintin (who I think was with the Captain btw) or Thomson and Thompson. If my young innocent self could see the slash then it's there xD.

*LOL* Yes, I don't mind my childhood being twisted when it gives me a reason to laugh, and this article definitely did. You're right, he did have quite some chemistry with the captain, too, but I'd prefer the theory that he just had a domestic arrangement with him and in fact crushed on Chang. ;) But yeah, Thomson and Thompson are pretty obvious. XDDD
