... great scott!

Someone should block youtube on my computer, because whenever I have a couple of minutes to spare (which I should actually use to reply to posts and comments and to catch up with my flist), I waste them on youtube. And whereas I couldn't find what I was looking for on youtube, I found a couple of other interesting things.

If you've ever wondered who the naughtiest boy at Liverpool is, check out this video. There's another one about the notes Rafa Benítez makes during the games, and one about the Gangsta Goatee of Doom. Rafa seriously cracks me up. XDD

But my search wasn't entirely in vain, because I eventually found what I've been looking for for quite a long time: a video of Pepe Reina speaking English! *nudges casi_casi* :D It's an interview he gave after Liverpool's 2-1 win against Barcelona in the 2006/2007 CL season, which is pretty much all I understand because Pepe being all... well, Pepe is horribly distracting. Maybe I'll understand a bit more after having watched it about 10 times or so. ;)

Continuing with Liverpool, the Mirror published an awesome article on Jamie Carragher. Seriously, this must be the most detailed and brilliant article I've ever read on him. I wish this had been published sooner, when I was still doing some research for my Carra fic. But anyway, if you've ever wondered why/how he became a Liverpool supporter after spending his youth supporting Everton, why he has that scar on his stomach, what his views on loyalty and fans are, how he sees his future, and how he thinks about Sir Alex Ferguson, you definitely need to read this.

Related to this, I FINALLY bought this:

I've already read the prologue about Hillsborough, which was very absorbing and intense, and I can't wait to read the rest. Hopefully, I'll have finished the book by the time Carra's biography is published.

Also, someone posted an open letter from John Arne Riise, which was published on Liverpool's website, and his words really affected me. I still can't believe I'll never see him wear that red shirt again. kurdt105 will probably remember how Riise was the first Liverpool player to catch my eye when we watched them play in Switzerland last year, and even though he didn't play such a successful season before he left, I held him in the highest regards. He was a damn fine player for Liverpool, and dude, I'm going to miss that guy so much. :/ I wish him all the best in Rome. The same applies to Steve Finnan in Barcelona. YNWA. ♥

Now for something completely different:

Dominant!Sergio reduces me to incoherency. Rawr.

AND! teh_farmer and I watched the whole Back to the Future trilogy yesterday, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. As some of you know, I'm not even that much of a sci-fi fan and usually avoid films and shows that have anything to do with this topic, but contrary to what I had always assumed, Back to the Future isn't a sci-fi movie at all. It does have some sci-fi elements, yes, but the trilogy is so much more. At about 10 minutes into the first film, I was so hooked that I couldn't tear my gaze off the screen. I don't want to put any spoilers here, but let me just say that the idea is brilliant and cleverly executed, the acting is grea and the plot is thrilling until the very last second of the third part. And especially the latter is more than you can say about most movie sequels. So if you haven't seen the films yet, GO WATCH. :D

I'm now going to finish my re-watch of Life as a House (Hayden Christensen with eyeliner is so goddamned perfect, guh!) and then wait for my ex-boyfriend to come visit. Hope you're all having a nice day! I'll try to be a better flister tomorrow, I promise.
