O hai, Firefly lovers out there!
teh_farmer and I just finished the series (*smooches rotschopf* ♥) and now I have a question.
I read a fic today that warned about spoilers for the whole series in the header. I read it nevertheless, and in the third or fourth sentence, the author wrote something about Wash having died. I assumed that was the spoiler. However, the last episode I watched ("Objects in Space") saw the whole Firefly crew alive, including Wash. I'm confused now. Can anyone explain this? Is the bit about Wash dying part of fanon, or did I miss an episode?
We haven't watched Serenity yet, but it's a prequel to the series, so I assume the answer to my question isn't in it.
