Congrats with making it to the final, and your summing up of things is fair and correct. Too bad we didn't get a lot more goals, it could have been really entertaining but would probably have taking the excitement out of the game too early. The best team of the tournament won, and you can't ask for more than that.
Glad you agree on the head-butting, I could not see who was butting who and sadly, football players are such Oscar-contenders these days that one doesn't really believe them unless it is obvious what happened. They really should consider what they actually want - all the fuss about bad referee decisions, and at the same time they are all faking like mad when they can.
I don't normally focus on football, but follows championship. This time I have not had much time for games though, and I prefer watching it with someone which has been in short demand. But I have gotten to see some very good one, and in between I've kept up by enjoying your little summaries of matches.
And of course Lehman is hot - all keepers are - that is one of my kinks ;-)
