kurdt105 just linked me to a video of David Beckham's awesome 60 yards goal for LA Galaxy. I had already read about it in the newspaper but somehow I couldn't believe it until I actually saw it, and now I'm all O___O.

Wow. Okay, this is the MLS (and it was apparently very late in the game, which is why the goalie wasn't in his goal), but - do cut the "old man" some slack. :D
I returned too late from work to watch the Germany vs Belarus game (yay, Klose scored!), so I'm going to ignore the game altogether and continue writing fic. I hope that monster will be finished before the Euro, gah.
