Haven't accomplished much lately, which is due to a very weird and yet (for me) unsolvable problem: Whereas I know about my assignments (important RL stuff as well as things I promised to you people), I don't manage to get them done. It's not (so much) that I don't have the time. I've had a couple of free evenings this week, but instead of digging right into the assignments, I wasted time doing other stuff which additionally to being completely irrelevant was also rather boring most of the time. I don't understand why I'm doing this, but I can't stop. *sigh* Until I get that problem under control, I'm asking for amnesty. I will read everything that interests me, but I'll comment a bit more rarely and try to focus on my 800 unanswered e-mails instead. And the assignments, of course. Speaking of which: If I owe you something (whatever it is), could you please poke me? I don't think I've forgotten anything (or at least I hope not), but I think that those who remember what they want from me should be served first. ;)
However, this is not the main purpose of this post. Or at least not all of it, because I actually wanted to share something with you. It's rather hilarious, so I'm hoping it might make amends for my extreme suckage at flisting:
The difference a wrong letter can make. For days now, Tony Henry (37) has repeatedly voiced his "utmost regret" for his blunder during the Croatian anthem at Wembley. Instead of "Mila kuda si planina" ("My darling, you know how much we love your mountains"), the British star tenor sang, "Mila kura si planina" ("My darling, my penis is like a mountain"). Considering the end result of 3-2 in favour of the guests, the Croatian fans now want Henry to sing their anthem at the Euro2008 as well - for luck.

And I bet they'll want him to sing it during the World Cup 2010 qualifications, too, hm? XDDD
