Actually, I'm happy Schalke won. We need the points, and I want at least one German team to survive the group stage. If it's Schalke, I doff my hat at them, because they don't have an easy group. It won't make me a Schalke fan, of course, but it would make me happy.

their Ultras go after their management with guns, no I'm not exaggerating
WTF? Gah, one more reason why Real should have won this. Am still annoyed.

Considering Stuttgart, I must say I'm at a loss. It would be so easy to blame their bad form on Meira needing to take anger management classes, but apparently, that's not enough. :( I really hope they'll get it together soon. They need to win against Lyon at least to preserve themselves a chance, even though it's just a small chance as they have to hope for Barcelona to do well. Meh. Do not like.

I completely agree with you - it's nice to have a talented player like Diego, but the team should not depend on him. The moment he's not doing well, he drags the whole team into tragedy. Real have a player like this, too, so I know what I'm talking about. Guti might be excellent and intelligent and talented, but when he has a bad day you can forget the whole midfield. (At least.) Like against Lazio. Werder need to get rid of that dependence on Diego to be a bit more constant. They sort of managed last season, why not now?

So I'm reduced to saying to them what I've been saying to Milan the past few weeks: WERDER. THE SECOND HALF IS FOR PLAYING ALSO. PLZ DO REMEMBER. *weeps*
*hugs* Seems your teams always forget to play during the second half and mine during the first half. They should play against each other. ;)

Also, I find you distinctly more boring now that you're winning all the time. Is this what it feels like to be a Bayern fan during a normal season (i.e. any season other than the last one)?
Not for me, because I love the game too much and I could never get bored when I see a team play beautifully, no matter how often. It takes away a bit of the excitement because you already zero in on a win before the match has even started and all that matters is if they win 1-0 or 10-0, but it's still a pleasure to watch. :) But of course, it's dangerous, too, because no team can win every match they're playing, and as soon as they lose, everyone will be at their throats. It's nice to be on top of the world, but it hurts all the more to fall from there.

And boy did I want to see Totti (AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Totters -- sorry, involuntary reaction) shove CRon's "I made them beg last time" in his face.
Those were my thoughts, too. But as I said, the shoving-in-face part would only have been possible if Roma had won 7-0 or something, and nobody could seriously believe that. With any other result, ManU would still have been like "but we beat you better last time, haha".
