germany vs. denmark: 0-1...

Due to drama group rehearsals, I missed the whole match except the last 10 minutes, therefore, I won't comment much on the match as a whole but on what I saw.

I think the boys did very well, considering that they haven't played together in this line-up so far. The communication worked relatively well, and the few good chances they had near the end prove this, I think. Patrick Helmes is definitely an enrichment to the squad, and the wonderful parade I saw of Robert Enke in the match report afterwards shows that he deserves his place in the national team. Kießling worked very hard, as usual, but I think that he needs an experienced forward by his side to be able to score, just like Lukas Podolski does.

In any case, I'm proud of my team. Denmark really can't be happy with winning just 1-0 against a German B-team. Maybe that's why they made such a great fuss about the line-up before? It must be an insult to every team's pride to manage nothing more than one goal against an obviously weaker opponent.

And just because I'm interested, how was Simon Rolfes? Did he have any good scenes? And how about the others? Is anyone willing to give me a quick summary? *puppy dog eyes*
