Have I recently mentioned that I love the FC St. Pauli? And that the club should quickly return to the 1st Bundesliga?
According to an infamous German tabloid that shall remain nameless here, the FC St. Pauli's boss Corny Littmann (54) married his long-term boyfriend Madou Ellabib (40) today. The gay president of the regional league club and the Tunisian opera tenor have been going out for eleven years now, after they'd met in a bar on Hamburg's famous Reeperbahn. They had fallen in love immediately, and despite some flings on both sides (to which Littmann says that he always remained faithful to his club so people shouldn't complain), they decided to finally say yes to each other. They went without big presents, official vows and a shared surname, but they exchanged rings, and in February, there will be a big party with their families and friends.
Isn't that awesome? On the long and troublesome way to the unlimited tolerance of a modern world, a gay marriage connected to a football team is definitely a very important step.
My best wishes and I hope you'll shag live happily ever after! :D
