The FC Bayern lost 1:2 against Arminia Bielefeld. The thought I've always dreaded has become reality. Why oh why is it so difficult to win against weaker teams? And why is it so easy to win against strong teams? And WHY is Magath playing with three strikers? Wouldn't a rhombus in the midfield make more sense? I don't get it ( Read more... )

Great minds, indeed :P But I entirely agree. An old coach of mine used to say that a game is won or lost in the midfield, and I think it's true for a lot of clubs - three midfielders aren't enough! If you can control the midfield, then it makes more chances to score and fewer scoring chances for the other team - fairly simple?

Exactly. Unless you have an uber-powerful midfield with your three midfielders, and that's usually not the case. Well, not with van Bommel, at least. *sigh* I have faith in Demichelis (who subbed Owen Hargreaves after he hurt himself omg! *pets Owen*), but I'm undecided about Salihamidzic - and van Bommel, of course. Ah well... Time to rob that bank, eh? ;)

Bwahaha, yes, definitely! I'm still thinking about how to draw those couches...life-sized Lahmi and Schweinski are keeping me company and providing inspiration (they're currently in print! :D)

*LOL* I still owe you that Timo/Philipp drawble... Let's see when I get to do that. Now that my scanner works again, it should actually be no problem to get it done soon. :D

And yay! Life-sized Bayern-OT3! :D
