(no subject)
THis week was so dramatic. Work was crazy. We had about 20 kids every day including the babies and kinderbears. Shannon and I only got one art project done this week because it was just so crazy. Friday was the icing on the cake. So I get up and I leave the house and realize I forgot my hoodie so I go back in and discover it was in the car. Then I realize I forgot my bottled water so I go back in for that. Then when im trying to merge onto the bypass, then ass doesnt move over. I get almost to the end before I can merge on. then I get to work and its all good. Later we have a fire drill which is fine, shannon and I actually hear the alarm this time and we round up our kids and get them outside and lined against the fence and we get them counted and everything, thats fine. We get back in and a few minutes later, the fire truck pulls up. turns out the guys who do the alarm forgot to push the test button which when its pushed, the fire department knows its just a drill. So it was kind of funny but I think teresa is going to get fined because they get mad if they get rushed to a fake call. So the day goes along. The kids are running around, jumping on stuff, doing kid things. Its crazy. All the while, sherry and shannon are going around the school checking heads
heads because we have a lice epidemic. We found many many many kids with nits, eggs and bugs. Including 3 of ours. danielle was sent home to wash her hair because she had so many bugs crawling around. and when she came back later, they were still in there. Also one of our kids came in with a fever. his mom said it had broken but it hadnt so 45 minutes later it had gone up so he went home. Naptime was bad too because the kids were fussing and kickin their blankets and standing up and messing around. It took almost and hour to get everyone to sleep. Break was fun though because I took in the video of my b-day party and the girls got a big kick out of it. We watched it twice. Then shannon and I were talking about the Funny Bone and I said I'd never been and she remembered that her family had two tickets left so she called them and asked if I could come with and they were like sure so later that night, I met shannon at Aspen and we went to the club.
So she picks me up and we go to tasty taco for dinner and if you go there, never EVER get the tator tot things. They make this seasoning thats just awful. So we go to the funny bone and were outside and 4 cops show up with their lights flashing and stuff and they got a call from someone and i didnt really get to the whole story but it was interesting to watch. So we went and saw J Medicine Man the comic and hypnotist. He was sooo funny. He told jokes about the casinos in iowa and the road construction and random things it was so funny. And them more drama. There was this guy who I think was already drunk, yelling stuff at the comic and finally a guy at another table stood up to tell him off and a group of people got up and started getting into it. The bouncers got them out before they did any damage though. so J calles 14 people up and the lights get turned off except for a revolviing light in the middle of the stage and theres 6 minutes of silence. Out of 14 people only 5 could be hypnotised. Then the fun began and OH MY GO- it was beyond hilarious. J started with something simple. Them cruising down the LA freeway and then a cop comes and they have to hide their pot but then the cop passes them by. There was a muscle contest where the guys and girl had to flex their stuff and it got sexual too. J is bad he had these 2 guys dancing together like really grinding and it was. You would have to see the show because there is no way to describe how funny and great this show was. shannon and I were talking about it the whole way back to my car. It was great.
So then last night we all had plans to go bowling. So I meet shannon at air lanes at like 8.45 and we first go to this gay bar to pick up her dad cause he's watching the kids. It was my first time in a gay bar and it was so funny. A little uncomfortable at first cause this girl kept looking at me but the guys were cute and very nice. Before we left there was this one drag queen who introduced herself at Chantel. I about died. When we got outside I was laughing and I just died. So we drop of her dad and pick up shannons boyfriend scott and we go to this bar and meet up with her mom and her moms boyfriend and we listen to this band and they're really good. We hang there for half and hour and then we go to the bowling alley where we meet up with shannons brother rocco. There were supposed to be other from work but they didnt shows so it was just me, shannon, rocco and scott. The first 5 games I rolled crap. I picked up the spare once and mostly rolled gutters and randoms and they were throwing strikes and stuff. But then, THEN I got mine. The 6th game I picked up the spare and threw 5 strikes. Shannon hated me but not really. It was so great. In overall scores I came in last but the scores for that game I came in 2nd so the evening ended on a high note. So now its sunday and im not gonna do anything.
