packed, loaded, unloaded, still boxed
It snowed today! Big huge flakes too. Nothing stayed but I think it's a great omen. ^_^
I still have one small load at the flat but imp has promised to help so hopefully I can turn in keys Wednesday. It's so nice to be able to stomp around, yell if I want, and mostly not to cringe every time I go over the steps that you just can't pass without making obnoxious creaking noises. I despised my loudass neighbours and dreaded becoming one. I was rather tired of hopping steps every day too. *is lazy, me*
The cats have adjusted quite well. Pickles has a wealth of new hiding spots and Madcat just assumes the place is hers. Remember too why my trashcan at the flat had a lid, that little scavenger.
I'm still pretty boxed in and most of it is books. I'd still had nearly two bookcases worth left here so adding my doubled-shelf-that-was-double-row-stacked is tricky. I bought three short bookshelves today and hope they'll be in tomorrow.
I still have to buy drapes for three rooms and just cannot decide on colours, save for one room and that's the set that are backordered until after Xmas. >_<
But being able to do my own laundry (and not go outside to do it) is wonderful! I think I've done over half a dozen loads since last Monday. Now if I can just get rid of some excess furniture I think I'll be doing nicely. Also, I have enough pillows to seat my entire friends list O_O
