I haven't heard from my doctor yet on the latest round of testing/checking/scanning/whatevering and I'm getting antsy. I assume that every time I sneeze it's a sign of impending doom. 'Oh no, my elbow is itching, that's a clear sign of x-itis! I have chills, I won't make it!' and so on. ::sigh::
In hgtv-ish news, I have (well ok, the imp did it, but it was under my fine direction) replaced a door handle and tonight will replace more. I took out my parent's dated brass handles and have replaced them. Next up: new chandelier and kitchen lighting!
I was totally out of touch this weekend, but I did meet the nano goal of 25000k. I'm just over 26000, but I am all out of plot. O_O

I like fantasy and sci-fi, anything with historical intrigue, mysteries are ok too. I quite do not like chick lit.
What are you reading right now?
I'm rereading the Adminstration Series since I finished book five and just needed more, but didn't want to read the next parts. I probably will once I finish book six though, just because. I could reread that series for the rest of my life.
If you could be anywhere right now, where would it be?
EEEEEEEgypt.
What's really creepy?
Well I was just reading this article on holocaust deniers. That quite sums up creepy, I think.

What's your current fandom / obsession / addiction?
Naruto! <-- copied from megyal but I can never have only one, so right now, add Greek, Latin, worldbuilding, and mom's tiny netbook.
What did you really want to do today that you didn't?
I did want to take lunch and go shopping, but if I don't do that, I can leave at 1600. But I really need rings to hang curtains on. But I'd also really like to leave early.
What are you most excited for?
To be finished with my nano story. And... to get all those new door handles on! Oh oh and we've decided to paint a wall, so that's going to be fun and then I can hang artwork.

What was the last thing you bought?
Well, since the imp bought the door handle... I bought... umm oh it was manga. Ôoku by Yoshinaga Fumi. I haven't yet read it.

I do and his name is Mr Pickles aka Pumpernickel Pickle, Mr Piggle Wiggles, Pickle-potamus. I also have Maddie aka Madcat, Madeline Eloise el Aziz.

As long as I can escape crowds, I don't have to be in a particular place, but petting Pickles is always soothing.

Playing. All. Day. Long.
Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter?
Autumn and Winter. I like cold weather. Spring is nice too especially when everything just begins blooming and is that pale green. Summer and I have a love/hate relationship. I miss summer when it is not, and when it is, want nothing more than for it to go away. I like hot weather, just not hot and humid weather. Eugh.
