An update ...
Humm .. Where to begin .. To start with .. WFB kept my account .. simply because I was too damn lazy to run around to find a new bank, and I talked to the Branch Manager and she did some serious convincing. So I am still there.
Wow, it has been a week since I updated .. Let's see .. what has happened. I haven't had a day off except Sundays for a while and that is catching up. I am just plain tired.
Confirmed with Mom that I am going to prepare and serve their 40th anniversary dinner. Not exactly sure what I am going to fix yet, but Mom know I am an excellent cook and is not worried about it. I know they opted for beef as the main course. I am planning on 4 courses .. so I do have a job ahead of me. Besides, wouldn't you want a four course candle light dinner for just you and your sweetie? Mom does!
Took possession of a flooded Prelude Friday (if nothing else ... it's spare parts!) .. that was a fuck up! The "management" of where it was parked had granted a week "extension" but refused to grant a 4 hour extension on Friday KNOWING that it would be resolved by/about 5pm that night. Pricks! Now I know why I moved from Houston out to the Country.
One of my Cubbie friends had his power termed and with the freezing weather, I could justify leaving him there .. so I have had company this week. It has been interesting. Just wish I wasn't working so much sometimes.
Anyway .. off to get ready for my Hebrew study group .. More to come later!
