Awesome Weekend + RAW!

Mar 09, 2010 01:00

Well I had a fabulous weekend and that kicks so much ass.  It's been weeks since I have been able to let loose and go out with my girls.  I had so much fun!  My 24th birthday was last week and my friends and I made plans to celebrate this past weekend.  We decided on our favorite night club to hold our festivities .  The people are awesome, the music is the best,  the drinks are cheap and delicious and the male strippers are HOT, HOT, HOT!!  Seriously.  Hot, hard, beautiful bodies shakin' it for all it's worth LOL!  I wish I had pictures of this one in particular, but I left my camera at home and was too drunk, by that time, to remember that I had my cell phone camera. It's become a yearly tradition for my and my two best buds to go to this club for our birthdays, with one of us always being the DD.  April is the designated driver for Jimmy's bday in January, Jimmy's for mine and I'm for April's next month.  April is the conservative one out of our group of friends.  She rarely gets wild when we go out, but there have been times.  Well when leaving her house she proudly states, "I have decided to get wasted tonight." Which to I responded, "Wow! Me too!"  We arrived at the club around 9:30 to get in free and take advantage of the $3 any top shelf deal to 11pm.

Sufficed to say we were absolutely trashed by midnight. We started out drinking some "girly drinks" a long island iced tea for me that was gone in under three minutes; then it was dos equis for the rest of the night.  I am proud to say that I didnt' fall down any of the set of stairs in that club and I was wearing heels.  So go me!  However, by the time we were leaving those suckers were in my hands and I was gripping the railing for dear life.  I slipped them on and did a hooker run across the street through traffic to Jim's car.  We made asses out of ourselves at the drive through at Taco Cabana.  We had to pull over to the side to wait for our order and as the guy came over to hand us our food I just sat there staring at him forgetting to roll down the window.  I couldn't find the button only to realize that Jimmy's car doesn't have automatic windows LOL.  The guy was a total sweetheart though.  We were welcomed with homemade sugar cookies from April's younger sister when we got to her place.  So all around, it was truly a wonderful night.  I cannot wait to do that again.  April's bday is on April 1st, hence her name, and its either going to be a local night spot or 6th Street in Austin.  Both have their pros and cons, but either way it's going to me super mega facken awesome.

The next day, Sunday, after fulling sleeping off my killer hangover; I met up with my family and cousins at some land we have on the river not far from home.  The guys brought their guns and started shooting at random stuff.  We did some target practice and I hit a can across the river with my brother's .22.  Go me!  My brother Nick who will be turning 16 in the fall is a great shot as is my other brother Danny who is in the Marines.  Anytime Danny comes home he shows Nick the new stuff he's learned.  Nick loves everything about guns and the military and perfects everything he learns at these weekend target practice trips.  I know it's so cliche for a bunch of Texans to be drinking and shooting their guns, but hey it's fun!  LOL, I almost lost my arm when shooting my mom's BF's .12 gauge shotgun.

The Chupacabra or Chupacabra victim? LOL!

So the very awesome katgirl625 told me last week that she would be going to RAW in Portland.  I immediately began to tell her how jealous I was of her and that she needed to cheer on Randy Orton for me LOL.  She kept me updated on what was going on as she hit the arena; dark matches and such.  Sent me some pics as well.  I just heart her.

The first one is from is right before RAW went live and the second one is during Randy vs Legacy match.  Teddy and Randy are in the ring and I can't tell you how much I squeed when I got that one.  Even though I cheer for just about everyone Kathy hates and that she was cheering on all the guys I can't stand we somehow remain freinds LOL!

I absolutely loved RAW tonight.  I knew we were going to get a good show since rival company TNA is now moving permanently moving to Monday nights.  I wasn't super stoked about Criss Angel and wasn't wowed by him, but the rest of the show was good.  I have this thing that I do at home with my family mostly where I try and sike them out.  I'll pretend to punch them and when they flinch I yell, "Fear! That's what I like to see!" or just "Fear!"  You cannot believe how much I popped when HBK yelled "FEAR!" at Taker tonight!  My brother looked right at me as soon as he said it.  He knows my undying fandom for HBK and the fact that he yelled fear was just too awesome.  I literally replayed that at least five times before watching the rest of the segment.  Oh and Kathy is a big HBK fan, no arguing during this.

FEAR!

Big Show will never be more awesome than when he was tagging with Chris Jericho.  JeriShow will always be number one in my heart, but ShowMiz is, forgive me, AWESOME.  I love Show and Miz tagging.  I know a lot of the IWC compare Miz to Jericho all the time and not in a good way.  I say so what.  Chris can't do this job forever.  He'll eventually retire, again, and go on to do bigger and better things and we'll still have Miz.  He's great on the mic and keeps getting better in the ring.  He's not a carbon copy of Chris Jericho and I like that.  So screw the haters ;).  I can't get enough of Miz on the mic and tonight he just spoke the truth.  I cannot stand R-Truth and his "What's Up" crap and I've never been a John Morrison fan.  Sorry I'm not feeling JoMo.  He's good, I won't deny his talents, but I'm just not a fan.  One day that might change, but not anytime soon.  So you can figure that I wasn't pleased with the outcome of their "match."  Lots of snark from me as Kathy hates Miz, so that was fun LOL.

Then there was the Randy vs Legacy Handicap match.  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that Randy came out with a sneak attack.  That was full of epic awesomeness.  It was just so him.  Legacy should have seen that one coming.  I knew that Legacy was going to come out with the win since Randy has been kicking their asses the last two weeks, but I also knew Randy wasn't going to go down without a fight.  Boy, was it ever.  The entire match was intense.  Randy was holding his own for a good part of the match.  Legacy, after spending a year and a half with one the bests, showed why they were once tag team champions.  They have perfected tag teaming.  I'll give them all the credit in the world.  The learned from Randy himself and perfected their skills and came up with the win.  They got some major heel heat with Ted getting the win while Cody distracted Randy, Cody giving Randy CrossRhodes after the bell was rung and finally doing Randy's trademark pose over Randy as he laid helpless on the mat.  It was a great match and good to see Legacy get one up.  I love this storyline more and more evey week.

Yeah, you better be scared Teddy! LOL

The Vince vs Cena Handicap/No DQ/Gauntlet match was great, just because Vince is too awesome.  I love the strut!  Plus Kathy was cheering for Johh and I think we texted each other more during this match than anything else during the show LOL.  Don't get me wrong, Cena is awesome.  I'm not a huge fan, but I absolutely respect him.  He works hard and he makes me laugh.  He's a good guy.

Next week we have some Wrestlemania rematches in store for us.  A Wrestlemania XX rematch with John Cena vs Big Show , Wrestlemania XIX rematch with HBK vs Chris Jericho and Wrestlemania XXV rematch with Randy Orton vs Triple H; because we didn't see enough of Randy vs Trips last year.  Well, Randy is seeminly a face now, I'm interested to see how that comes into play.  Probably not at all since those two guys hate each other's guts, but I'm hoping Randy will win this time around. Big news is that Stone Cold Steve Austin will be hosting RAW next week! Holy crap!! Now THAT is a guest host!

Anyway...

Here I am after writing this sucker up and I'm feeling really good.  After all the crap that's being going on lately it's really nice to feel good and smile.  There have been some things that I wish I could make better.  My relationship with my brother Danny has been strained over the last few years.  We just don't see eye to eye on a lot of things anymore.  Which breaks my heart because we were once so close.  There are still times when he's home and we are together and everyone says how similar we are.  I love that.  We don't have too many of those moments.  I'm happy to say that we had a little conversation about some wishes of mine concerning some personal issues and he backed me on them.  After he called me crazy, an idiot and something was wrong with me LOL.  In the end he told me if that's what I wanted then he would do whatever it took to make it happen.  Awww, love him.  Plus, he humored me with my drunk texts to him on Saturday.  Payback for the 4 am drunken CALLS I get from him.  So all in all, I'm happy with everything.  For now, I'm happy.
