Where It All Began...
The moment that started it all. I never gave Tyler or Caroline very much thought in season one. I was slightly curious about Tyler, but that was more about him and his relationship to his parents. I'm a sucker for family drama. Although, there wasn't anything beyond that for either of them. Then this scene happened and I don't know what it was, but I LOVED the idea of them. They were just so flirty and good guh Tyler in that costume, I wanted it. I even hoped he would be her "hot enough to make out with" guy. Sadly no. I crack-shipped them even though they rarely has any scenes together. I was happy with them in 1x22 and hoped the TV Gods would hear my prayers and have them get together in S2. Well they didn't deliver until S3, but I'm not complaining. Tyler and Caroline's journey as individuals, friends and a pairing has been the most compelling aspect that TVD has done so far. Now I pray that they don't get screwed up. So it was this moment that made me a TC shipper and there was no turning back. :)
