This Has Been A Post
So I FINALLY got completely caught up on Supernatural. I was four episodes behind and didn't have the time or energy to just sit and watch. I had some knee and back problems this week and was laid up in bed all day yesterday, drugged up on pain killers and with icy-hot patches stuck on me. What better time than to catch up on my shows right? Right. I caved and watched the pilot to Suits first. My friend Kathy has been begging me to watch for weeks. I should never doubt her because that show is all kinds of awesome. It's clever, snarky and incredibly funny. The two lead have such wonderful chemistry with each other, it really is a must see.
As for Supernatural...I was a hot mess of emotions by the end of the finale. Leave it to Supernatural to always rip my heart out and stomp on it and still have me wanting more at the end of a finale. Love this show. I tried avoiding spoilers as much as I could this summer, but some things are going to be spoiled no matter what. Especially if you are like me and addicted to tumblr. That place is spoiler central. Despite what I already knew, I was still totally unprepared for the whole thing. Again, Jensen, Jared and Misha prove why they are such amazing actors with their heart wrenching portrayals of friends and family who have be hurt and betrayed and all with the best of intentions. Gah. *Rubs heart* This show can be too much for my delicate heart sometimes. I wasn't too excited for S7, but I blame that on the fact that I hadn't see the end of S6. Now I am in desperate need for S7. It needs to be in my life. Pronto.
In other news, I finished The Mortal Instruments : City of Bones and I'm half way done with City of Ashes. I've become such a big fan of this series, I cannot wait to get to the next book.
As for me, I'm doing...well I suppose. Lots of family drama and work stress makes up my life these days. Can't complain too much, because it's a hell of a lot better now than it was a year ago that's for sure.
The only think I can complain about is this heat. We have a head advisory warning in my area until Sunday. The meterologists have been saying this would only last a week for weeks. They don't know anything or they are choosing to flat out lie to us lol. It keeps getting hotter and hotter. Oy. I'm melting.
