Click to viewThe amount of male celebrity obsessions that I go through in a year is ridiculous. I have ADD when it comes to gorgeous men it seems lol. I remember my first celeb crush was country singer Garth Brooks when I was maybe six or seven years old. I became a full blow fan girl with NSYNC. I was a huge teeny bopper back in the day lol. I had T-shirts, jewelry, diaries, posters, buttons, stickers, pens and all kinds of merchandise that had to do with NSYNC. I went to numerous concerts and when Joey smiled and waved at me I could have died happy right there and then lol. Anyway, as most of you probably have I saw the gorgeous Sam Worthington in Terminator: Salvation and Avatar trailers. I did notice he was particularly good looking but when I finally got around to seeing Terminator did I fall for this guy. Everything about him just oozes manliness and the Aussie accent is just swoon worthy.
So, I googled him and found on his imdb.com page that he was going to be in the remake of 1981's Clash of the Titans. He fills the role of Perseus; the mortal son of Zeus. I remeber a few stories of Perseus from back in high school; mostly the one about Medusa. I have always like greek and roman mythology and even though I never saw the orginal I am so going to see this remake. Not only because Sam Worthington is in it but because I LOVE epic films like this one. Even the trailer looks epic!!
I was a senior in HS when Troy hit theaters and I was huge Eric Banner and Orlando Bloom fan at the time but I left the theater a little bummed. Just a little. I left wanting a lot more than what I got but it was still a great watch. I am hoping that Clash of the Titans will just blow me away.
According to the trailor the film doesn't hit theaters until March 26th. My birthday is March 2nd so it will be a late bday gift to myself. I'm sure by the looks of the trailor it won't be hard to get a few friends to go with me.
