Good food and buying stuff...
Tonight we went out to Shogun Sushi & Grill to celebrate spending WAY too much money on some new pieces of furniture for the house. Two weeks ago, we bought a new dining room table. Today we bought a rug to go under it, a buffet and a sofa table for the living toom. Not a bad way to spend $1300, I'm sure, but it's more than we wanted to spend. In the end, though, we will be happy when it's all in place (I HATE having to wait for delivery!).
Dinner was awesome. Hibachi grill, fried rice, Shaggy Dog (shrimp roll), and tempenyaki shrimp! YUMMY!
I have been craving sushi lately. We only eat the cooked stuff and I am sure people think "That's not sushi" but it's sushi enough for me. ha! I have really been wanting some lately so we "scratched an itch" tonight for me. :)
