Way To Go, Hillary

I am really proud of Hillary Clinton! It's not easy being a woman in politics, especially in the United States. I've seen first hand in a lot of the jobs that I've held how all the advancements often go to men who often have less experience or knowledge. Statistics back up all of this, too. Hillary has had to deal with being referred to as a "bitch" (in front of McCain, no less- and no one batting an eye about it) and her character shredded in the media- How likeable is she? How honest is she?
Then there were the photos of how she was looking on the campaign trail. Or in New Hampshire when she became choked up while talking to her supporters- (nevermind that there have been countless other politicians who have become emotional over one thing or another) But when a man tears up, he is being real. When a woman does it, she is being weak.
Hillary was under a microscope from day one of her campaign and there wasn't a single speck of her that was not magnified, examined or criticized. It takes guts to stand up in front of the entire nation and ask for the highest position there is, but you have to be even tougher if you are a woman asking for that job. I couldn't be more proud of the fact that my money and support went to her campaign and I will continue to support her in the future.

"No self respecting woman should wish or work for the success of
a party that ignores her"
