The Good and the Bad
Only in America! This last week we celebrated Mardi Gras, Ash Wednesday, Chinese New year, and Black History Month.
On the bad news, Zandie the new cat seems to be so intimidated by Amy the Fearless that Zandie pees on our bed. Khereva is ready to give her back to the Humane Society. I keep thinking that there is something else I can do to help Zandie, but I'm at a lost as to what. Any suggestions from others will greatly help.
Khereva and I went over to our China Central Market near our house. They were celebrating the New Year. We thought that a friend's Lion Dance Team would be playing (he said so in his email!). But it was nothing but Chinese dancers doing Chinese dances.
They were good dances and the youngest ones, under 10 I think, were just the cutest people! The young troopers got parts of the dance wrong or they kept looking at each other to see what the next step was. We had a great time watching.
Then we ate at one the new dim sum places there called Kim Son. It was very good and recommended to all in Austin.
We then went and bought me some more clothes for work.
All in all a good week.
There's another "Iron Builder" at the Lair that we are thinking about going to. We don't have as much to put together as we have in the past, but it might be fun to go and sit and talk with the others.
