Hiya folks! Graduation date is getting close!
On saturday, we finally decided on what to do for the guests. Since I have a big family, and they all want to come down for grad. we're having a small reception afterwards. Way afterwards.
Commencement excercises are at 9am on fri the 13th, so we decided on having a small dinner later that night since not everyone will be able to make it in the morning. My mom had thought about renting a banquet room at a restaurant, and we were like, um ok, we can invite up to 40 people. Well once I started making the guest list, it seemed to go on forever, it went way beyond 40 ppl and that was just family! I was like, what about my friends?! Can't they come? And my mom was like what about our friends and neighbors, they keep asking me what we're going to do? Finally, we decided on renting the meeting room at a hotel nearby, and up to 100 ppl can fit in the room- yay! So now we just need to figure out what to do about food and drinks and music, of course. I think some friends of my parents are actually gonna cater the thing, and my sis-in-law's brother in law is a dj, and he'll provide the music, so all we need to buy are the beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic of course. So about 75 of my closest friends and family are scheduled to come, and since we will have some room to fit a few more people, you guys can come too! :P
