Back but wishing I wasn't
It's been a bit since I've actually written something in this thing. As usual I'm on here because I have school work to do and don't want to do it.
This last weekend was so awesome, went up to Ely for Wooch's annual Du Nord trip. 3 solid days of fun outdoors in the North woods wilderness. Went snowshoeing, cross country skiing, midnight sauna-ing. Had tons of fun and got to know a bunch of new cool people.
Now that I'm back in Duluth I'm having a hard time adjusting to being inside all day long again. I realize how much I hate it. I really needed a weekend like this to remind me that going to school up here isn't all bad. I really need to get outdoors more often. I plan on going up the shore sometime this week. maybe wednesday go up to gooseberry, I dunno.
One thing I really realized this weekend was that I need to be more outgoing when I meet new people up here because after this semester I won't have my old friends to rely on to go out and have fun with. Everyone will be leaving. i guess this means I shouldn't be listening to my ipod all the time when I'm at school and try to socialize with people. Oh well, things'll happen how they happen.
That's my banter for now. I suppose I should get back to analyzing some satellite Imagery. (yes that's the kind of stuff I do in class).
