Disney Part 6
On our sixth day, we woke up and headed to Epcot. We got there and went over to Test Track and got in the singles line. It was such a good idea! Instead of waiting over an hour,we waiting 5 minutes. We were not in the same car, but it was ok! That ride really is a lot of fun! But...Jason broke my camera. He took a drink out of my water bottle and did not close it all the way, so when I tried to turn it on, nothing happened. I was PISSED. We fought about it for a while and yeah, that wasn't good.
After our fight, we headed to Mission: Space and got a FastPass then went on some rides (including the Nemo ride again!) We headed back to Mission: Space and got in line (and I started freaking out a little because all the warnings were making me nervous). We got in the thing, got strapped in and the thing came down...and we sat there for about 10 minutes. Jason started freaking out but tried not to show it. They let us out and gave us anytime FastPasses. We went over to lunch in Mexico and is was REALLY good. :-) We went to ride Ellen's Energy Adventure and then headed back to Mission: Space and rode it. It was not that fun...or that scary. I do not get the appeal.
At some point we went shopping and I got Jason his anniversary gifts - a Mick Mouse shaped chips and dips bowl and a mickey mouse ice cube tray! It was very cute! I also found the shirt I wanted and the day before I got an awesome poster of almost every single Disney character.
We then headed to Mexico and rode the boat ride, then rode the Maelstrom and saw the Norway movie. We went around to all the countries which was really fun. We saw the $38,000 castle at Germany, and then got to watch a production of Romeo and Edna. It was SO funny that we headed to London to see the other Traveling Players group do...another show! I can't remember which it was, but it was very funny. We then went over to Norway and had dinner. It was...eh. I guess it used to be you got a cold buffet and then got to try a few main dishes, but they changed it so you could only try one. I had something that was good, but I was still a little disappointed.
It was MGM's late night extra hours, so we headed over there and got our wristbands. We thought we would go to the first Fantasmic, but it was full early, so we went to do some shopping (Jason still wanted a shirt). We also rode Tower of Terror again. All of the people on the ride were older, so when we got in the attendant asked if it was anyone's first time. Two people said yes so he looked at the rest of us and said "Don't give it away. Oh wait what am I talking about it is just an elevator!" and headed to Fantasmic. It is my favorite Disney show (well I think so). I love the story and all of the different characters they manage to have and all the different movies they managed to show scenes from. After that, we met up with Jason's parent's friends. We got FastPasses for that, and thanks to some mistake Rock and Roller Coaster also. We went ot the Great Movie ride first, then did the other two. Those rides are so much fun.
Mark and Deana gave us a ride back to our hotel and we headed back to our room and fell asleeep.
Side note- I hate to be so this then this then this, but I can't help it. It was just such an amazing trip and thinking back ot it makes me so happy!
