Hopefully, everyone is having lovely holidays (or a great December, whichever you do), but we just wanted to remind you that the due date for Secret Santa fics is January 10th, 2009.
Also, since we'd really like the recipients to be surprised when they see their fic, raedbard and I are asking that you *not* post your fic early; please only post on the 10th. If you know the you absolutely will not have posting access on that day, you're more than welcome to email me you story* and I can post to the community for you, if you'd like. Also, if you're going to be late with your fic, please let us know, so that we can try to get a pitch-hitter to write something for your recipient; then plan is for everyone to have a story waiting for them to read, and not have anyone left out.
*If you do need me to post your story for you, the easiest way is probably just to send me a Word document (or the Mac equivalent), so that I can simply copy and paste your story into an LJ post. Please make sure, also, that you include any and all relevant header information as well as coding; the italics, the bolding, any links, and what you'd like the cut tag to say. I don't have a problem closing a tag or two if I see that you've missed it, but I won't have time to code the entire thing for you.
