i'm breaking the "-" mold
soooo my throat has been on fire the past four days.
i have swallowed numerous amounts of otc pills none of which put out said fire.
i have doused the entire back of my mouth in chloraseptic
which only resulted in me gagging, and being left with an awful aftertaste of cherry flavored menthol.
so i decided, why not take advantage of free healthcare while i still have it?
it will be gone in a month, so might as well hit up ol' uncle sam for some free rx drugs, right?
right.
so i went to the doc expecting the usual "your allergies are being dumb again, here's some allegra."
only nope.
this time i got strep.
and let me tell you, it has not been an enjoyable experience.
so i get my diagnosis, and go pick up my free penicillin.
get hit on by a jamacain pharmacy tech who says he used to see me around fccj.
creep.
nice, but still. creep.
THEN i call the moms to let her know
and she says "oh penicillin? you know, i am highly allergic and so is your brother, right?"
apparently my little brother had to go to the er from taking it and almost lost his leg.
ummm so no i didn't know, but thanks mom for telling me, you know before i died from taking the drug!
so she tells me to take it anyway, it should be fine.
so i took it.
and praying every minute i don't die.
(i tend to over exaggerate things if you haven't picked up on that)
then i get home and look online it says to drink soup
so i heat some up, go to take it out.. burn my hand off.
(yes still exaggerating, but i do have a red stripe across my thumb and it's not the deodorant)
annnd i think that about sums up my day.
i can't go back to work until sunday because i could spread my disease to unsuspecting texas roadhoes.
which sucks, because i have no money and am getting married in like 30 days or something ridiculous.
so anyway that was my like.. what is it now.. once a month update?
i'll let you guys know what's going on with my wisdom teeth.
that's the next item of excitement on my list.
