I Could Do A Degree in Crimping?

Revision time, well- really we should call it "Oh crap the exam's tomorrow? Well I suppose I can learn everything in one day right? I HAVE TWO EXAMS ON THE SAME DAY? Oh well- I don't need sleep and I'll just cram all night instead."

Thing is, how am I expected to revise something I've not been taught. Not from lack of being in the lesson, merely lack of the teacher actually covering this at all. There's also quite a large amount of teacher being called out to meetings when he should be teaching us, hence me having to pretty much translate Chaucer myself, and then use Wiki-fucking-pedia to nail some of the themes and criticisms. I swear, when these exams are over, I'm finding whoever edited that article and buying them a drink :-)

I just don't get how I can learn Boosh quotes, including full crimps, after just one viewing and yet be so terrible and remembering three or four lines from Shakespeare and Chaucer! Surely my brain should realise that Calm-a-Llama-Down is slightly less important than A2 English and redistribute space accordingly??

Very little other news- as I have been drowning in revision (almost literally- the sheets of paper cluttering up my bed are becoming a hazard. I'm gonna be the only person to die as a direct result of Shakespeare's prose) and work. The highlight of my week is now Torchwood, because it can be fitted in around revision and Ianto relaxes me :-)

So to anyone else doing A-Levels, I sympathise. To anyone who's finished with exams and will tell me "they're not that bad, don't sweat it" I might actually kill you :-)

xx
