Hmmmm....
Well, my throat has been pretty sore for the past 3 days. Thought that it will eventually go away sooner or later with the tons of water that I am downing myself with, herbal tea and also 三脚水(a brand of cooling water) but hell, it's just not working.
So, had to get my fat ass off to the clinic opposite my office earlier for a quick consultation and probably another round of antibiotics since mine is obviously out of order.
Anyway, off I went to the clinic for a quick check. The attending was a female GP, probably about late 30s, sassy looking with short hair, nice shirt and short skirt. Hey, I was just looking :p Ok, back to my point. She was pretty serious during the consultation and did not really smile or talk much. Guess you can say that she is not a people person. So she started checking my temperature (no fever there), listening to lungs (kinda alright sounding i guess) and also looking into my throat as per the SOP. Her verdict was, Tonsils are looking fine whereas back of the throat is inflamed. Hmmm, wonder how the back of my throat got inflamed? *LOL*. Ok, ok, back to point again. She was, like i said pretty serious, no smile, solemn looking during the whole consultation. So when it ended, I stood up, turned and just when I was about the leave the room, she suddenly blurted out, "Hey, I really like your dimples! And I can't help but keep staring at them" while holding a big smile on her face
Well, that's a shock to me albeit a pretty pleasant one, I might add. And as usual, the idiot in me just had to put my foot in my mouth. So I went, "Haha! Really? Ok, next time I will take a photo of my dimples and give it to you". All this while, with a huge grin on my face and then left the room.
Hey, don't blame me for looking like an idiot, I wasn't expecting that from her! Oh well, the next thought that came to me was, Hmmmm is she making a pass at me or does she genuinely likes dimples a lot? *LOL
Guess I will never know :p
