i don't consider myself a bad driver. on the road, in actual driving situations, like changing lanes, moving in a straight line, yielding....i've never had trouble. my three accidents read like a list of what happened to a driving-age charlie brown on a bad day

but i can't open the passenger side door. its dented where the hinge is and there are a lot of scrapes. i also have lost all driving priveleges (except to go to work), and lost the privlege of having my car at school. and all the money i earn naturally goes to fix the car, but i know it wont be enough, i'll have to pay this off for a long while. 3000 dollars for yours??? thats incredible, mine must be double that. (we haven't had an estimate yet) aw man... you're lucky.
my dad checks the odometer regularly now. also...you might not want to repeat this to your parents - not that you're the type but, its extremely embarassing to have parents talk about us.
anyway, don't you have friends who drive? you'll work something out, don't worry. it's just a few weeks and everything will be back to normal in a while.

oh yeah, you were in philly??? your parents let your drive to philly? wow. actually...i was driving back from the bronx from seeing my boyfriend. the roads were really simple, it was all highway driving and then making a left into the Fordham campus. but thats all rumors... (ahem)

yeahhh my parents let me drive to philly. it was a totally spontaneous day trip with my boyfriend ("philly on $20 a day!"), and i didn't really get much out of it besides a cheesesteak and a scratched-up car.
your accident sounds terrifying. i don't know if i'd have the courage to drive after changing lanes into a truck. at least you didn't get hurt. thank god for that.
as for the $3000....that could be my dad exaggerating and very likely is. it cost tres mil when we replaced the whole back left quarter of my car after accident #1, so i doubt a paint job and some GS-27 scratch remover will really cost that much. 3 grand could cover yours. maybe a tad more.
for now...we'll have to trudge through this together. thanks for the support. here's to bumming rides and not keeping paychecks!
