a brief plot summary
the update:
peter is HOME.
friday+saturday+sunday in Pediatric ICU.
sunday night in normal pediatric ward.
monday home.
he missed his dog and his kitchen table.
he's a sport, and i love him.
he's so much better
but his head still hurts
and i hope nothing else ever will.
the asbury park press really roasts my turkey.
the school district superindentent talks out of his ass.
who cares -
the law is on OUR side.
not that i'm vengeful,
but i take great comfort
in knowing that this boy
WILL be arrested and that the case
WILL go to trial.
he had better.
because there is no memory more painful
than that of my baby brother
in the emergency room
on a respirator,
unconscious.
