I woke up to find tons of snow and only a two hour delay for classes, which was kindof disappointing, but oh well. Anyway, I'm taking that time to show off our vacation in Jackson, NH, which was absolutely beautiful.
Here's where we stayed. The Snowflake inn. This is also where we stayed over the summer when we went to Cathedral Ledge.
The view:
River in the back yard
Crumpled bed. For some reason, I have no Before pictures.
Jacuzzi in the room. Very nice after that one hour massage. Haha...This is the only one Mac let me keep. When he found my camera, he deleted all of the jacuzzi pictures but this one. But that's all right. I think this picture was the sweetest.
The hotel reserved a candle-lit dinner at the cider house. It was sooo good, but neither of us could finish our food.
The menu
Scallops. Oh-so-yum
Cider-tini. I had a couple of these. They were awesome.
Cake!
That's my boy. I think he was fending off my camera with his silverware.
Mac's birthday present! Truffles from the delicious Bavarian Chocolate Haus, mentioned in my other New Hampshire entry.
And... just pics of us. I made him take a billion to try and recapture the one I had my eyes closed in. =p
Beak fight.
Then back home to play with the puppies! Neither of them would sit still very long, but here's Brutus:
And here's Stewie:
And, for the grand finale, the sign we saw when leaving North Conway:
